Loved the end photo for me the 24mm one looks the best but all really good
ОтветитьIs that what the sun looks like,
ОтветитьCathedrals are a great source of images to photograph. Stained glass windows, architecture, geometries and magical lighting. I like them very much. When I go there, I can stay there for hours ..
Ответить24mm with the cloud colour and reflection was simply superb
ОтветитьLoved the photos of the castle; both the 24mm and 50mm versions. i wonder what a portrait orientation shot at somwhere around 35mm would look like. Thanks for the vlog, always a pleasure.
ОтветитьVery nice - thanks again Julian. Limogues is somewhere I've always just driven past, but maybe it's time to stop and look. That must have been a long 'ol day too, 3 hours driving each way - easy to think of France being like Britain, when it's really huge. I think you also just made a good case for using a top-notch zoom! ;-)
ОтветитьFirst rate shots. Good light for the castle. Makes the drive worthwhile!
ОтветитьI am always amazed by all the fine details of the archetecture in those churches. Thanks for sharing
ОтветитьWatch your background music audio levels. That music was painfully distorting at 4 min.
ОтветитьGreat drone shots !
ОтветитьJulian, the shots in the Cathedral are stunning. The shot at the castle, like you I prefer the 24mm shot 😁 brillant work as usual.

Some great shots in this vlog post. Particularly (but not only) the inside of the cathedral and the drone’s one with the M’ont-Gargan abbaye. The sky was great on that day.
ОтветитьI would love to know how you managed to get up higher for the Cathedral in Limoges. I now live in the area and I would be so happy if I could take some fabulous images from higher up. BTW, have you been in the area since you vlogged this episode? They have done some stunning renovations to the Cathedral and the columns are now restored and painted. Loved watching this, it gave me some good ideas for shooting in the area.
