how do these shocks compare to coil overs like bc racing?
Ответитьso in a drag car witch helps launch better is plus easy to lift front in acceleration or minus ....please help
ОтветитьWill the rebound of the strut recover slowly when "soft" or should it just have less resistance with the same rate of recovery regardless of adjustment? I bought some used and I am trying to determine if they are functioning properly before installation, as when I adjust them counterclockwise they are very slow to rebound but have fast rebound when adjusted clockwise. I thought the adjustment changed the amount of resistance and not necessarily the recovery speed or velocity of the rebound. Seems like they won't recover fast enough when driving on soft setting on the road.
ОтветитьHow do these compare to KYB
ОтветитьSo basically adjust all 4 and then do front and rear separately to desired ride? Or should you keep the front and rear even?
Ответитьthis is great, and all.. but when you have the 8240/8040s, you better get used to removing/re-installing them a bunch of times to adjust to fit your preference.. such a PITA.
ОтветитьI want some Koni Yellows for my Del Sol, but the descriptions are just vague standardised nonsense.
I want to know how you adjust the valving on the shock. If it’s an adjustment knob, great. If you have to remove the shock from the car that’s ridiculous, I’m not interested.
Listen to this spiel.
“Many Sport shocks are externally adjustable, making fine tuning even easier.
KONI Sport Yellows are not the average damper, the following features make them unique:
Many can be adjusted externally for rebound damping force by means of a knob under the bonnet or in the boot and don't need to be disassembled from the car
Damping forces can be fine-tuned to personal driving style and road conditions in a matter of seconds”
What the hell does that tell be about this product? The photos are generic, so are the descriptions. 👎
the fact that koni has not answered any questions here is bullshit
ОтветитьWhats the max spring rate these shocks can handle? Warranty? How long do they last? I wanted to get bilstein b8 but after seeing a lot of them fail very fast, im looking for alternatives...
Im looking for bmw e36 shocks for road/track use.
