I remembered the game being a lot different to this.

I'm sure I used to play it where you had to build the trap throughout the game and then you just kept going round and round until it lined up to trap someone, eliminating them from the game. Also vaguely recall some crank to move the boot, rather than the stop sign, as well as some other parts.

Never really thought about children's board games getting revised editions before. I wonder what other classics have changed.

to this day i find it hilarious that the rules of the game specify if the trap works or not, like instead of just making a working mechanic they just turned its unreliability into a game mechanic in of itself.
