Drove the flagship model for a week in Malaysia. Absolutely loving the car. Mine had the sunroof. X50 is very powerful for a 1.5. Always use sports mode when I’m on the highway.

Proton engine does consume a little bit more fuel than other cars with same power. That's the only downside but otherwise, it's very good for the price

I saw this car at our local mall in Durban.
The interior did it for me

Test drove the top spec X50, it's quite nippy for a 3 cylinder in any drive mode especially Sport Mode. Unfortunately, the showroom car already had a problem with the sunroof not opening. Some of the ADAS systems on the test car were not operational even though it is advertised by the dealer, and the sound system was really not good. Some of the sensors seem very shoddily installed as well. I don't believe that this car has a very good build quality. Overall, the car is too overpriced in my opinion.
