Personally I would get more enjoyment out of watching you tackle a slightly less restrictive challenge and not cheesing it, than I get out of you trying an insane challenge and then having to disable all triggers in order to win.

I was thinking that LOTV Nightmare edition needs the top-bar SoA abilities to be activated in real-time (like in co-op) instead of pausing and this definitely clinches it

So i confirmed you can use the bug in this, if executed "perfectly" read "use a macro" to get the solarite. However the mission gets weird. I had to swap to over an hour of doing it manually due to strange lag build up, i theorize due to scripting freaking out.

This run gave me an idea... Spear only run? Only the abilities (and units) of the abilities of the Spear of adun are allowed. Some tweaks are necessary for the earlier missions until you get enough abilities to actually carry.

I'm rewatching this video, and it's hit me that the sheer level of breaking the game is the same reason I love speedrunning. This is a measure of love of a game—spending all that time dissecting and studying it just to do something unintended. It's incredible.

I like how grant ran some adepts in to deal with guardians, starts talking about how they cant kill an adept right when the last guardian kills one of the adepts

Would the bug work if you saved and canceled a purifier beam instead? Solar lance seems way more practically useful for clearing the mission thanks to its shorter cooldown and faster application of damage.
