Jim Carrey here is perfect as eggman/Robotnik, he's Goofy and funny, but when he gets serious he's an actual threat

Jim Carrey does such a beautiful job role-playing the mad doctor.

Dr. Eggman, more like Dr. Lame Man! Get it? Cause the character is a total joke! All you're good for is making stupid robots that are easily defeated by Sonic. You could never compete with the likes of Lex Luther or The Joker, with their intricate plans and devious motivations. Dr. Eggman is just a weak, pathetic villain, and the Sonic movie is a laughable flop. Don't even try to compete with DC and their powerful superheroes and compelling villains. You would be crushed like the insect you are!

Honestly from what I’ve seen, it looks like Jim Carey really carried this movie lol. He made a fantastic robotnik.

Its crazy because the sonic universe actually takes place thousands of years after the 21st century so this movie doesn't even make sense

The Sonic movies as a whole were pretty mediocre at best but jim Carrey as Dr.Robotnik was just perfect. I kind wish we got a third movie just for Dr.Robotnik to finish his transformation to dr. Eggman.
