I have an 08 accord v6 coupe EX-L dual exhaust. It’s stock, at 268 ponies. What should I do with it? I’m planning on getting a cold air intake, some exhaust work and headlights re done. I don’t know shit about mechanic work tho, any suggestions?

8th generation accords are my favorite type. I learned on one of them, I think it wad a base. It is my dads, it's got a 5 speed auto but its got that K24Z3 with the VTEC on the intake. Super fun for an "economy" car.

8th gen Accord flopped so bad in Europe that they discontinued the whole Accord line here including future generations despite of all previous gens being steady sellers

The 7th gen accord with a 5 speed is what I have and after doing dumb stuff in it and blowing the original k24 that made 160 hp I just engine swapped it with the Jdm k24a that produce 205 hp

I bought my 2004 6-6 accord coupe a year ago, and since then its survived being hydrolocked in the california floods, driving 8 of those months with 2 leaky head gaskets and survived me learning to drive stick on it and it still starts up 100% of the time. Love this car

Just bought an 08’ accord with an i4 and 344k miles. After a thorough look through, it spins like a top and I think I’ll be daily driving this to work for at least the next few years. Maybe more. 👍🏻

2012 EX-L V6 auto. Put rougly 80k miles on it drove cross country with it fucked up the front left wheel twice already, and it still runs like a champ. paid it off and thought about getting a new car and trading this in. But i love it so much im just gonna keep it till the engine blows up.

labrador is CORRECT. i own a 7th gen honda accord with 145,000 on it when i bought it, it's had a horrid history on carfax, however ive put almost 4,000 miles on it and taken it on a couple of short road trips, it still barely shows any age. this car is a true gem in the automotive world.

Glad I came across this vid. Been a bit down in the dumps about whether I should do my 8th gen Accord a solid or just keep it as is and get a different vehicle as a project. I have a laundry list of things I'd like to do to it so it's nice to get some affirmation that it isn't a waste of time, considering the lack of aftermarket support for the late 8th gen coupes.

I've got a 2016 Accord Sport sedan... Love It!!! Just wish it had a manual tranny and came with the 289-hp V-6 instead of the V-Tec 4-banger with the 189-hp and CVT tranny. But it takes corners like its on rails, I can safely take a corner thats marked for 45 MPH at 65-70 with little to no body roll. And I swapped out the factory Sport "spoiler" for an aftermarket spoiler, making it look a bit more aggressive. If there was a way to increase the HP, without chipping it, would love to know how...
