UPDATE: I am already seeing people mention that Alexander is getting stuck at the Radahn Battlefield for them... I was really hoping that following this guide would help people avoid the bug. I am not sure if it's random or what causes it (I don't even know if From Soft knows what causes it)... I am hoping they patch it soon because it is super lame. Very sorry to anyone experiencing this bug, I've tried looking up potential fixes but haven't found any useful information.

CORRECTION #1: You still have the Amber Draught if you decide not to give it to Ranni. You just need to switch over to the option to use it when you approach her.

Hey, i'm stuck in the Sellen's questline. I defeated Radahn and now i'm at the point where i have to complete Sellen's quest by giving her the Glintstone but I'm unable to do that. I tried talking to the festival guy Jerren but he says “Go on now, this old geezer hasn’t any use for you just yet” and doesn't do anything else or moves to the ruins where sellen is. I have tried reloading the game, fast traveling multiple times but it still stays there. Please Help. Thanks.

I walked up to the little talking jar guy in Jarburg, then I set my PS4 controller down for a sec to grab some headphones so I don't miss his dialogue. But THEN as I set the controller down the Heavy Attack button was pressed, accidentally killing Jar Guy.
Fuckin Sony...why did they make the controller so that it sits on buttons when you put it down?!? This has ruined several NPC interactions for me.

I'm a bit confused, you mentioned at the end that we should avoid killing Rykard right now, but I tried to look through the rest of the guide, i did not see any part you came back to kill Rykard or other quest lines in Volcano Manor.

If anyone is having trouble with Astel using a janky melee build like I was, a quick trip to the dragon church to pick up rot breath will fix you right up. I just summoned latenna and breathed him 5 times. Easiest boss yet

For the room that trap u with a giant ball, u can attack the ball from outside the room. No need to go inside the room. In case the ball does not appear, step in a bit then back out. Lock on to the ball hanging above, and kill it.

An easy way to traverse the lake of rot is to roll in it and then get on land and let the rot buildup. If you do this the rot will take much less damage for some reason I don't know and makes going through the lake alot easier as you can almost certainly heal the damage without much effort

Godskin Peeler is also a perrfect tool for (i wouldn't say cheesing) black knight, if you start by running to him, right when he spawns, and start the black flame tornado, and spams it so you hit 2 times, it will do alot of damage, after that he will try to avoid it, but lure him in, maybe take a hit while casting, it'll be worth it, took a couple of tries but totally worth it

This is my third play through and second time doing Ranni’s quest…and the way you see the members of the black knives dead around Iji’s and Blaidd’s bodies is just heartbreaking because of all the interactions and bonding you do with them up until that point.

When you go to get the Wing of Astel weapon, if you use Rotten Breath on the malformed star enemy from the pillar above, it will knock him out in short order.

Great guide, but oh god I am not ready to fight Astel at level 70 with my cipher pata. I can't even reach the fucker! I feel like scrappy doo.

Thinking of throwing some points into dexterity and strength and using the winged scythe from now on. Cipher pata is great in the open world but way too underpowed and low reach for tough bosses

For black knife Tiche I was able to do it with dual wield daggers. I had frost and a reduvia. Boss is immune to bleed but weak to frost and gets staggered easily except for some hyper armor moves. I punished almost all attacks with a simple quick slash that could combo until the boss had a force dodge.

You deserve a medal of some sort for the effort made on these videos.

So I’ve been following this guide and dung eater is still alive at the round table hold. I didn’t kill him or give him the potion but I did fight him did I do something wrong or are we going to get to dung eater later? I’ve been doing a little bit from these guys every day and I can’t remember if I skipped a step or not.
