I do like that also the date is misaligned on that Spaghetti Scametti. And that the date is clearly in a different font than the logo. It is that attention to detail that really counts. Many brands misalign their second hand, but how many do the same for their date? You can look at this for hours and find new flaws constantly. I would have liked to see some misalignment in the dots at each 5min interval, but hopefully they are made out of a fake gemstone and one of them will fall out after a month or so.

I have the newer version of the Lorus and it's very nice in person 😁 although I would have preferred the older dial as shown in the video. The new one has the "3" that's cut off by the date window.

Although I do have enough credit to afford a Rolex or a Brietling, I don't think I'll ever go for one. I just prefer cheaper more robust, easier to service or throwaway watches. This comes from years of being in a career field where watches are necessary and easily busted/broken. I'm retired now though but I still love watches that show value but also won't depress me if it gets smashed. My most expensive watch is a Hamilton Khaki Diver that I paid $600 for from a reputable AD. My other watches are sub $100 dollars.

the W-202-1AVEF is the direct and updated "competitor" of the F91W if you roughly like that style with the writing and blue border ... it takes it up a lot, it is similarly more of a daily work watch.
The LW-204-1BEF is better and particular than the W-202 from which it derives for an advanced and clean minimalism of the display (the display is also inverted) and the totally smooth strap. It is a watch that could easily be used with discretion even on more elegant and formal occasions without jarring.

Hmm well I really liked the frame if the loris, and I could change the strap easily, but the new face is green. The others I liked were out if stock except the seiko, but I cant replace that strap, and then the casio and boulder are too expensive. Donnk what they are supoeed to be, but ive only found both for about 300 canadian dolloars

It’s very refreshing to hear Ben, who is obviously very passionate and knowledgeable about watches, appreciate watches based on their craftsmanship and value instead of the brand name and unreasonable price tag. Most of these watch channels I’ve looked through like to think that you can’t sit at the table for less than a thousand dollars. Love my G-Shocks and Eco-Drives, can’t wait to check out some Seikos now. Thanks for indulging my fascination!
