The Caldera de Taburiente National Park in the centre of the island of La Palma is the number one attraction of the island known as “La Isla Bonita”.
The Caldera de Taburiente is the largest erosion crater in the world. There are several hiking trails through the national park.
The best trail is the one that takes you from the Los Brecitos viewpoint located at an altitude of 1,010 meters to the Las Angustias ravine. This path is about 16 km long and takes 6-7 hours.
This is an easy enough road, otherwise I would not have taken my youngest daughter with me.
