Knew this was gonna be some serious sh!t when I saw him w/ the chainsaw in the woods… like, “oh, it’s like that?” 😳
ОтветитьThat was a real welder right there he had the blue pearl snap on I would trust him
ОтветитьShould of treated the wood before installation, would of done all 4 sides , and ends … looks really good now though
👍👍👍👍👍🇬🇧🇬🇧
may i ask what's that powder you add .. thanks
ОтветитьVery tidy I like the paint it gives grip and covers up scratches 🇬🇧🇺🇲👍god bless
ОтветитьNo cleaning/inspecting wheel bearings/races and spindle with freshly packed grease??
ОтветитьOut of curiosity, why was the rust painted over?
Unless that primer serves more than one purpose….
Beautiful overspray 😂
ОтветитьGood job! Looks great 👍
ОтветитьDude gave zero F's about driveway
Ответитьthis was painful to watch.. kinda like watching a monkey trying to jerk off with boxing gloves on..
ОтветитьCould you please link me to that front box you used? I found those new ez latch couplers you used on new trailers....can't wait to fit my older trailer with one.
Ответитьwhat was your bed liner mixture? I know it was Line X, and then paint thinner, but what was the bag of stuff at the end you put in?
ОтветитьLove the concrete and tires great primer job
ОтветитьNonetheless, nice job on painting the concrete. Real talent and skills right there let me tell ya.
ОтветитьHow many babies resulted from this project? Neighbor wives included of course.
ОтветитьNO FLIP JACK ?
NO BULL DOG HITCH ?
TO BAD !!!
Looks like you had a good project to work on and did a great job, however, I gave this video a thumbs down due to not enough information for anyone wanting to refinish their own trailer. Like what kind of paint and what we’re in those cans that you added and was that sand or something else? I’m glad everyone enjoyed the video but I feel like I just wasted 10 minutes.
ОтветитьExplain to Kelly that this is an opportunity for her to learn how to use a pressure washer and then run quickly away. Lol. Trailer looks great by the way.
ОтветитьLooks like he painted his driveway
ОтветитьMan after all that you gotta ahoq it off a little more than just a single shot.
ОтветитьI’ll just buy a new trailer😂
Ответитьdisagree with the used motor oil on the wood otherwise nice job
ОтветитьOnly thing I would have done differently is painted the entire driveway
ОтветитьAre you for real , how would rebuild a trailer in 10 minitues, give the throught
ОтветитьNice job. I have a trailer needing some overhauling and a hickory tree that needs to come down…hmmm. Darlington, SC
ОтветитьGreat Job what about your spare tire
ОтветитьWhy didn't you make the front and side rails higher to the height of 3 feet? With higher trailer sides, you can haul high profile stuff like furniture, bed mattresses and box springs, refrigerators, freezers, and other stuff securing them to the sides during travel. You had a welding machine, it wouldn't take you long to extend the rail height.
That way, the trailer becomes a much more utilized trailer. Your trailer is very limited in carry design the way it stands.
The only thing i would have done differently is paint underneath and in the wheel wells, otherwise great job
ОтветитьI'm still trying to wrap my mind around using used motor oil for the deck. Sure does eliminate using the trailer for hauling anything like furniture. Should have coated all sides of that wood before bolting down. The bare wood on sides and bottom will absorb water and finally rot.
Most of us don't have a sawmill worth ten or more times what the trailer would brand new. Nice mill!
Love the idea of using the bed-liner for paint. Better than powdercoating
Sloppy
ОтветитьYou need an extra wheel hub stored in that box (greased real well and covered), always hated when a bearing went out and the hub was frozen, needed too be replaced along side the road..
ОтветитьDid you take the tires off and paint the inside of the wheel wells? Nice looking paint job...
ОтветитьYou do most things yourself, I try do the same. Pulled 300 ft 1in blk pipe out of well...
By hand, the last 15 ft was as heavy as the first 298. My repair was better job than the wellman.
You do really good work!
Congratulations!
Well, a ten-minute video... haha. Here I somehow thought it this would be some kind of fantastical rebuild speed run. Not sure how I thought that'd be possible. Ha. Nice video. I need to rebuild parts of my trailer after both exposure and an apparent accident.
ОтветитьMight just be your best video ever... Decent background audio... Great photography... All was terrific except the video was missing Kelly.
ОтветитьBetter the overspray gets on the driveway than the house or car (don't ask).
I see a lot of people use a skinny board in the middle of trailer decks, but if you have the lumber, better to saw 2-3 of the other boards slightly narrower so a wide board can fit in the middle. Those skinny boards are always the first to break or rot out.
Cool video. Cool project. An easy watch. Well done.
ОтветитьLOL At the overspray on the driveway. My wife tells people I am a great painter, every thing within reach is the same colour or at least has some splatter. Great coverage is my game.
ОтветитьI mix my motor oil with diesel 50/50 , it seems to penetrate the wood better and not too dark. I call it my HWP ( Hillbilly wood preservative)
ОтветитьYou left me speechless!
ОтветитьNice grey driveway Troy. lol. Don't worry, you do just like me. I always forget about those things. Keep the good work.
ОтветитьWhat brand of sprayer is that?
ОтветитьG'day from downunder Troy.
Another great video mate keep up the good work. Did you spray the underside of the trailer? You could have lifted the hitch with your bucket (obviously chained together) and had plenty of room to spray underneath
Say what you want about eTrailer. No matter what I ordered, they never shipped me anything that disappointed me.
So far, from them, I've gotten two trailer hitches, two light controllers, one receiver-mount cargo rack. All top quality and great customer service!
Next video: BOLO for souped up red trailer stolen from man on Red Tool House Road.
ОтветитьI'd of carriage bolted the end of the deck boards one run up and stitch welded angle iron over the tail end.
Ответить
