Add Depth to Your Voiceover Performance

I credit you, Bill DeWees, and Nastasia Marquez for getting me going. You have the kind of calm, natural, mellow voice that I think must be doing GREAT for you, by the way.

Can I ask a small question that for me right now is huge? I finally finished my recording space and it's way more than adequate, soundproofed against incoming noise, soundproofed inside for reflection, no equipment except my mic, interface, headphones, and a computer monitor inside... and I still hear a tiny hiss when I put on my headphones. Is this normal? Noise from the interface or headphones? Is my gain up too high? After all the work I've put in, it's driving me bananas.
