The Lexus ES 350 is the Buick of Lexus. It is comfortable and has a nice interior, but fairly boring.
ОтветитьThe Lexus WS needs AWD and Lexus can get rid of the sport mode.
ОтветитьThis dude talks about stuff that no other car reviewer I watch talks about. Really knowledgeable and can communicate it all to the audience in a way that makes sense
ОтветитьThe 2019-2021 Lexus ES sold in the Philippines had no Lexus Safety System until it was added in 2022 to 2 out of 3 trims.
ОтветитьGreat video! I wouldn't have to get over the exterior styling because I like it a lot. Also, I love that colour!
ОтветитьES 350 F Sport - best choice, better handling.
ОтветитьI like this guy
Ответитьyou do know the pedals are not on/off switches, right?
ОтветитьOh my!! Why is it so quiet in there!? Are you doing any sound dampening!? That’s just what I need!! To go from point A to point B without stress. Pure class.
ОтветитьI'm a 51 year old truck driver in the used luxury market for the first time. It's frustrating that no one is making a car that doesn't have an Achilles heel. Why is Lexus committed to such a terrible infotainment system and poor handling? Why is INFINITI making a fast, rwd car and ruining it with the steering mechanism? Frustrating.
ОтветитьI love my ES 350 with V-6 engine. In future models Lexus is going to turbo 4 which I don't like!!
ОтветитьJust got this car. Love it.
ОтветитьThe Camry feels huge?
ОтветитьI have a 2020 ES and I feel the 8 speed causes significant gear hunting issues. Many folks say the prior 6 speed was perfect.
Ответитьjust because the door CAN open wide, doesnt mean you have to open it all the way.
kudos to Lexus for providing the option.
Pls, how's the visibility in the car?
Hope the dash/instrument panel is not too raised compared to the seat height?
Lexus: Makes the GS irrelevant you said...
ОтветитьI just picked up a 2013 ES 350 with only 30k miles on it. Car drives smooth as silk, engine is healthy, etc. It's one of the best "driver-friendly" cars I've ever driven.
ОтветитьGreat review👍. I am getting ready to get another ES either 2017 or 2019 after watching ur review. I have ES 2007 and has no problem whatsoever, still runs great.
ОтветитьI feel like the ES could use AWD.
Ответить“Weird color”? It’s Nori green and it’s beautiful.
ОтветитьI test drove this and burned rubber by accident. Truly was not trying to be an ass. The cabin smelled. :/
ОтветитьLeased 2019 ES 300h Premium 1/2 yrs ago, now 16,000 miles. IT'S A KEEPER!
Mark's review spot on.
Comfort, luxury, solid fit and finish, relaxed drivability, grips the road, great for everyday use. Most people compliment the car after experiencing a ride.
Great freeway cruiser: set adaptive cruise control, use middle lanes, let hot rods zip by, get 46+ MPG. Lots of trunk and back seat room for passengers.
Will buy when 4 yr lease is up. Have 1999 Toyota Sienna for hauling.
I find the new ES an amazing car, but few notes here. 1) The V6 produces 300 hp and the front wheels have a hard time getting these ponies on the road when flooring. That's a disadvantage of a FWD. 2) The AWD only comes in a 2.5 liter 4 cylinder. Unless you live in snowy areas, I don't see much value in an under powered AWD car. 3) When closing the doors, it sounds real "thinny". It somehow detracts quality, even though this car is sound. So what would be in my view the best option? The hybrid version. Still 215 hp, plenty of torque but not too much that the front wheels can't handle the power. Lastly, an amazing gas mileage. EPA estimates 44 mpg and with conservative driving, this is achievable. If you are an audiophile, do get the ML upgrade. It's worth it.
ОтветитьJust sold our 2007 Lexus ES 350 for $ 2500 - 183k miles. Not sure if I was getting bad advice but an oil pump failure and labor was more than I wanted to spend on it. The shop implied that it may need a total engine replacement (not sure that I believed it). But, I felt like I was putting too much money in to this car - numerous issues with the dash melting (documented problem), windows not working and then this oil pump failure convinced me to let it go. Pleased with what we got out of it over the years.
ОтветитьWow, a reviewer who actually understands what the car is meant to do and evaluates it on that basis instead of judging it from a sport/enthusiast perspective? You're like a damn unicorn. Subscribed.
ОтветитьI love Lexus
Ответитьgreat vid as always. Sold my Merc clk320 (great for an older car) and got rid of my ML350CDI with all the options. Just bought a 2013 ES350 sports luxury with 60k (35000miles) on it, It's so much better than my Merc, I can't beieve it . If there's only one problem, I'm 6'4" and it's a little snug but it really goes, exceptionally silent and beautiful engine.
ОтветитьNice Camry, bro.
ОтветитьI Look forward to your videp. I ALWAYS enjoy your vehicles reviews. It is not one of the usual "quotes from the dealership's brochure." I am interested in this model or the rx350l. May I made a suggestion that would help me and sure many other viewer....Just put up a photo of all the specs, where you can see the length, engine, ground clearance, and other important stats. All at a glance. Would appreciate it. Thanks for the video. Yes, I want a CD player. The HUD button to turn it off, another feature that I insist on. Took bad the back seat do not fold down. I will test drive one this week and the rx350. thanks for all the info.
ОтветитьBy far, best car reviewers. Now a days, people prop up a Go Pro inside the car, talk about themselves, and regurgitate generic details about a car, and consider that to be a car review.
Not Savage Geese. The sound tests and data. No one else shows the undercarriage and talks about it.
I wish “infotainment’ systems were optional. They’re all expensive computer crap that detracts from the looks, drivability and enjoyment of a good car.
ОтветитьReally provides serious levels of luxury at a really low price. From the seat quality to audio system, all around quality!
ОтветитьSilky
ОтветитьFunny, I bought an ES350 a month after this review. It’s the best car I’ll ever own
ОтветитьMy ONLY gripe is the complete lack of wood trim on the dashboard. I don’t understand why any luxury vehicle wouldn’t have wood trim on the dash
ОтветитьSeats don’t fold down is a deal breaker for me.
ОтветитьThinking about getting a used 18-19 ES 350?
ОтветитьThe door opening extension is not a deal breaker, because you don’t have to open it all the way if don’t want to. But it’s a future for those who use a walker, or…
ОтветитьMy 80-year-old mom bought one of these used, since she loved her previous Lexus so much with the easy-to-pair phone options. She and my dad have now gone back to the dealership three times to get "lessons" on how to work the weird-ass trackpad thingy that controls the infotainment screen. Knowing how hapless my mother is, and how short-tempered my dad is with gadgetry, if enough dealerships begin sending SOS messages back to corporate, they will eventually change the media system (probably). After watching vids of it, I understand the control motions for navigation, but when I was in the car with them trying to figure stuff out WHILE driving it, I can understand their frustrations. A touch screen would be soooo much more simple and less risky IMO. Great review!
Ответитьquality of filming on your channel is phenominal. its just like you have worked for film industry or trained by them. along side your reviews cant be beaten.
ОтветитьI think I am going to keep my 2016 ES and skip this generation. They lowered the vehicle too much and Lexus needs to move away from the 17-inch wheels after putting the vehicle on a bigger frame. The 18-inch wheels should be standard.
ОтветитьLexus or Mercedes....? Confort, silent interior...
ОтветитьThe ... DOOR?? I ha e one. Remember to stop the door on the ... 2ND POSITION,, !! Works fine! The 3RD position is the one that you are mentioning. Which IS HARDER TO REACH. , ,,!
ОтветитьYo!!! I just BOUGHT an es350 three days, ago!!!! The DOOR!! I don't like the EXTREEME outreach of the door, TOO! I have to hmm REMEMBER to open to the hmm OTHER shorter spot. How come they don't "invent" an AUTOMATIC DOR CLOSURE?!! Maybe stops about one foot before it closes. For SAFTEY REASONS. I always thought that would be an EXCELLENT FEATURE. Espe I'll for ah, SHORT OR OLD PEOPLE !! Like ME! Ha! Anyway I Che ked out many cars. The merc e300 . Not leather. And I like the GEAR shot on the console. So I cab FEEL it when driving. Some cars had the push button. I INSTANTLY FELT COMFORTABLE IN MY ES 350 !! IMMEDIATLELY ,, !!! Ice cold ac. And VENTILATED SEATS!!! I live in FLORIDA so it was the DEAL MAKER!! And the CD! I'm old school!!!!! Thanks,,
ОтветитьOne of main issue that keep me buying newer luxury car; info system. I don't need all the high tech stuff that drove me crazy. Most people who could afford Lexus didn't not care about high tech gadgets. I owned a 2014 CRV and I traded it n for a 2018 RDX. Reason: The RDX had identical instrument and info system with no high tech garbage. I didn't want any of the lane change and cruise control craps either. I test drove the 2019 RDX and the 2019 RX350 and they both had the same garbage info system.
ОтветитьLexus was the last one to have a tape deck. sc430 I think
ОтветитьThe weird thing is that the original price on my 2007 ES350 was around $47,000 (it has everything, I'm not the original owner) whereas this one is only slightly higher. Lexus has actually been making their cars a lot cheaper when inflation is considered.
