OK, I'm unsubscribing here. Getting fed up with the sales pitches....
ОтветитьAdorable I’m ready to try peel and stick!
ОтветитьAndrea I just love all the images you shared! I’ll have to look them up on your blog!!! Thanks for sharing! Enjoy Germany!!!
ОтветитьI do like wallpaper. But it dates faster and it never comes off easy at lea s t not for me. Much easier to change the paint color. And its cheaper!
ОтветитьI still have.nightmares about trying to remove wallpaper in my house. Never again!
ОтветитьAs a major flora and fauna gal, I love wallpaper! I feel like it could feel a little busy if I did it in every room but you gave some great tips! Also, if you are really nervous, you can try out decals. They have come a long way. I have a fun tangerine and leaf wall in my laundry room with decals.
ОтветитьI don't think I could EVER do wallpaper. Wallpaper is beautiful, HOWEVER, we have bought a couple of houses where they've used hideous wallpaper! We've seen where it has worn and curled over time. To remove it was a beast! It does not last forever.
ОтветитьI love wallpaper, but like you not the wilder faddish kind. For instance we'd rented a house one year that still had old foil wallpaper in the dining room. Yuck. But the ones you featured are all beautiful and timeless. I saw no difference in the peel and stick.
Ответитьwallpaper was beautiful until it had to be removed it was hard work
ОтветитьI made a few mistakes with wallpaper many years ago and learned from them. Your advice is right on. Started with the fads of the time, then switched to timeless stripes and a colorful timeless floral above a chair rail in the dining room for instant elegant decor. I agree that two color wallpapers like the ones you showed are very calming and less likely to "get old." Wallpaper can also be helpful in hiding uneven walls or tone down colors that are fighting each other. Example: dark wood cabinets and avocado kitchen appliances, countertops, and flooring. Yikes! That was my first condo, and I couldn't afford to renovate, so a garden trellis wallpaper with soft yellow flowers, shades of muted green (avocado) leaves and vines, and some wood tones on the one large wall pulled the dark brown and avocado colors together to make sense and tone it down.
ОтветитьWallpapered my bedroom and bathroom 37 years ago. Stripe in one room and coordinating floral in the other. Still up and I have never grown tired of them. Don't care if others think it is outdated.
Ответитьhey girl- loved the video😀😉 Thank you for the tips! I have never used wallpaper. But it does look tempting. Such pretty ideas. Maybe someday🤔 Y'all have a blessed weekend🥰
ОтветитьI don't think wallpaper itself is a trend, but patterns come and go. In particular, very busy or very bright ones can become tired after a few years. I live in a 130 year old house but it has textured walls over lathe and plaster! So wish I could put up wallpaper in at least one room! It can be so warm and cozy.
ОтветитьI think wallpaper is best for classic houses. If you live in an older home, it is a must.
ОтветитьWall paper is great and fun and being a seasoned paper hanger I wouldn’t suggest plaids or checks for a beginner. Those patterns require matching and can be really frustrating. I suggest small patterns such as florals and stripes although stripes can be tricky as well. After a beginner has mastered these then move on to something such as checks etc. to build confidence….great video otherwise.
ОтветитьTaking it off the walls is why most people don't want to put it on.
ОтветитьI love wallpaper. It screams cottage and cozy
ОтветитьAlways enjoy your videos Andrea. Love the beautiful patterns of wallpaper you've shown here. If viewers are not sure whether they want to bite off wallpaper since it can be expensive, challenging to put up, time consuming, and difficult to remove, they can consider using a stencil and paint to get the same feel or if the person wants stripes they can use tape and paint. This way the pattern can be lived with for a while to see how one feels about it. And if it's something someone grows tired of or they just don't like the look, it can quickly and easily be painted over. I'm planning to do a stencil project on the wall in my entry and/or kitchen soon and don't have to feel worried I won't like it when it's done. This also gives me the option to make the pattern as scattered or as dense as I want. - Angela
ОтветитьI love peel and stick wallpaper because I like to change it up and it doesn’t damage the walls
ОтветитьGood morning I love the idea of wallpaper in your bathroom.peel and stick.just as nice..If I could use it I would but I live in a apartment.Have a bless and safe weekend 🙏💐❤️
ОтветитьI love your tan and white bathroom tile! May I asked where you purchased it?
ОтветитьI've used both, and would definitely use peel and stick! I Love it because I live in a rental, and if I ever move, I can take it down without ruining the walls! I'm looking for something timeless now for my kitchen in my rental, and my bathroom.😊👍
Ответитьtimeless
ОтветитьLove wallpaper ❤❤❤
ОтветитьI love wallpaper, I had it for years been thinking of doing a small room.
ОтветитьI will never do the traditional wallpaper again. It was days of soaking and scraping to get it off. Love your videos
ОтветитьI’m 65 and I can tell you that however you choose to decorate your house, in a few years it will phase out. I have seen so many styles and trends come and go over the span of my life so just go with what you like. In five or ten years it may be totally out of style or you may just be tired of it but it’s going to happen. I’ve wallpapered and stripped a lot wallpaper over the years (ugh) so I doubt I will ever do wallpaper again except maybe a small area or one wall of a room. I love the prints they have now but I just don’t enjoy the whole process, although the peel and stick is tempting!
ОтветитьAww I think wallpaper is classic! I grew up in a house that was wallpapered, my mum was an excellent wall-paperer and always picked the most classic designs, I’ve used wallpaper in my own home, and sure it’s popularity has gone in and out, but classic, timeless wallpaper always looks fantastic 😊, I think you should look at Laura Ashley Wallpaper, just beautiful!! love the videos xx
Ответить❤ 🥰 checked Wallpaper❤🥰
ОтветитьI used the peel and stick wallpaper in my dining room, and I absolutely loved it. It was easy to put up and if I decide that I am tired of that pattern in a few years, it will easily come down!
ОтветитьI have wallpaper in almost every room in my house. It's been 20 years and I still love it. I chose mostly neutral colors so I can change decor with the seasons.
ОтветитьI love wall paper that don’t have a busy pattern or large prints in cottage/country style homes with the right furniture to go with it. My house inside is a little too modern with gray kitchen cabinets and very light gray walls, you know the colors that most people are so sick of😂. It wouldn’t match with the vibe in our home but I love it in other people’s homes.
ОтветитьI just love wallpaper. If it is done right and not overwhelming it can be so cosy and warm and inviting. Looks lovely. God Bless.
ОтветитьTimeless wallpaper is the best as I can see. You have chosen the best color's and patterns to fit the style of your home. The color's are easy for people eye's and not on people's faces. Your right there's color's for different people. All over the world, if we would of liked the samethings I guess it'll be a boring place to live as other's say.

I am sorry for my late 💐🌹💐

Thank you.
ОтветитьIf you are afraid or not a fan of wallpaper, whichever kind, removable, peel and stick or prepasted...then do stencil on your walls..it's genius! If you don't like it then you get the thrill of picking a different color paint and livening up your room that way 😊 I've seen stenciling done and I literally could not tell the difference between that and wallpaper unless i walked up and ran my hands over it 😂
ОтветитьIf you use real wallpaper, not peel and stick, place a wallpaper liner first- it not only helps to smooth the surface but allows easier removal of wallpaper.
ОтветитьI’m sending this video to my mom. I have an old victorian farmhouse and have been having fun with wallcovering in this house (I’m also a commercial interior designer and much more adventurous than she is.) She always tells me she feels stuck in her color palettes and any deviation from her beige/green/burnt orange feels scary and wrong. I need help breaking her out of this mindset. 😊
ОтветитьI have breadboard all over my house....I am thinking about using a small stamp to mimick blockprint wallpaper.
Ответить*beadboard😅
ОтветитьI lived through the 90's of wallpapering everything, then eventually stripping it (NOT fun), I recently used the self adhesive (peel and stick) in our new (OLD) home and LOVE it! As long as you can find a pattern you like, I would recommend trying the self adhesive. Have a great weekend.
ОтветитьWhenever I watch Pine and Prospect Home, I am simply inspired to declutter and wipe surfaces and stylize my home in a minimal and cozy way. Love, love, LOVE! We need this channel!
ОтветитьHard to match wallpaper to carpet
Ответить...I know somebody that covered their walls with Downtown Abbey Fabric...
CLASSICS; PLAID, GINGHAM, ETC.
What blue/gray paint color was on your nursery room board and batten (before you updated jt)? Thank you
ОтветитьThank you for all your wonderful videos! I am actually a long time follower. My question for the peel and stick wallpaper is that the wall has to be %100 smooth. I have a tiny texture on my wall . Do you think it’d work or not? Thanks again
ОтветитьI have had wallpaper in my cart trying to make up my mind. I love classic English Timeless Wallpaper. My childhood home had beautiful wallpaper in my bedroom especially and I still dream about that room. Soooo I found a classic English wallpaper that is ivory/green. It's a white hydrangea and green leaf 🍃 vine with an ivory background.....it's going on 1 wall in my entryway. Im so glad you convinced me to do it. It was a little pricey but doing a smaller space it helps make a statement without consuming the whole room or my wallet. I ordered an extra roll to be safe so I hope I have enough to line a cabinet or the laundry closet.
ОтветитьLove the visuals, very clear!
ОтветитьAndrea, you selected the prettiest wallpaper and rooms. I think you're right! If you pick a timeless pattern, you can truly love it for years to come.
