In the first couple of episodes or so, Michael referred to KITT as an "it". By the time of "Junkyard Dog", seeing KITT about to be dropped into an acid pond had him just as torn up as if it had been Devon or Bonnie (or April).

The last one was my old neighborhood. Twin Peaks in San Francisco. They even caught the apartment I grew up in. It’s where Michael landed when KITT ejected his @rse. Right behind him.

In junkyard dog Kitt doesnt get destroyed but ANNIHILATED. That scene was so burned into my mind that I used to reenact it over and over as a kid with my toys. I had a toy car that looked just like kitt.

The Acid Pit Hurt So Deeply. KITT Loses His Molecular Bonded Shell. Brutal. Still An Awesome Machine😊.

Those moments were truly heartbreaking, watching my beloved KITT getting hurt! 😢

The acid one is when I truly felt desperate and sad for poor Kitt. Now that I'm an adult I started Wonder if Kitt has pain receptors od some kind 🤔😫

I loved watching knight riders or airwolf when I was growing up and now I'm watching it for nostalgia but I can tell it wasn't adult audience targeted

KITT was always a supercar to me, seeing him hurt or damaged and i never understood how or why... But it broke my heart every time 😢 Still does, i love my KITT ❤

The 2nd time should not count because all the fork lift truck did was put kitt in a mud puddle that should not have destroyed him at all

So im assuming that when KITT talks, before Michael hears it, it is copied to some sort of tape system. Because when KITT sinks i to the oil, its exactly like a tape playing when the batteries are running out. If it was just digital, that wouldnt happen.

The Goliath one as a kid was awesome! I remember part 2 when Michael wakes up and pulls out the Knight Industries 2000 car manual to get Kitt working again 😂
