More often than not, I walk away from one of these videos feeling irritated by the dispatcher, but this is one of the rare times where this wasn't the case. In fact, it's the exact of opposite of that. Whoever the dispatcher in this incident was actually really awesome. She was concise, calm and gentle in her tone, and it was obvious that she did her very best to give those caught inside of this nightmare situation at least some kind of hope. I wish more dispatchers were like her. Most tend to be callous or even outright nasty in their tone, but this one was an angel. Take notes, future would-be dispatchers!

I was in school at the time of this in a neighboring highschool about 2hrs away, but we still went into lockdown and sent police officers at every school and parents were picking up their kids. But yeah there arent that many highschools and colleges over here so yeah L dude

I praise our local sheriffs office and especially John Hanlin who refused to use the shooters name. As National media swarmed and the president flew in our community never wavered. We refused to speak his name.
Larry was my long time friend and instructor. Not only did he teach writing, he wrote books, foraged wild mushrooms and was an avid fly fishermen. So thankful they bulldozed Snyder hall.

The campas was a concealed carry campus. There was a red and green card that was outside each classroom door if you had a concealed carry you flipped it to red when you went in the class. After class you flipped it back to green. We have many veterans on that campus. Just the term before this happened they went to a non-concealed carry campus. After this… it’s again a conceal carry campus. I had not seen his face until this video. Him and his mother were not locals and hadn’t lived in the state that long. He was a student at UCC and that was his class.

I think people still need to hear about these cases because how else will we learn about self defense, what to do in a situation, hear news to remember those lives? But at the same time, I wish they wouldn't name or photograph the killers so they have nothing to cling to or idolize. I wish instead they would just say what happened and then share the photos of the victims and about those people. Shooters dehumanize their victims. They need to see that their victims people too and they matter way more than the twisted agenda

Seems like a lot of these shooters have some form of autism, been watching a lot of these videos the last couples weeks and that is a major thing I noticed.
