The third row seat is one of the biggest reason I don't think I'm going to buy a Sequoia. I could careless about it being hybrid. This one of the best video's I've watched about the Sequoia. I wish there were more choices with colors, rim's, and interior.

Too expensive. Toyota shouldn't try going with luxury vehicles, just get back to trucks. Lexus is for that market.

This channel is the Smoking Tire of SUVs. Absolute god-tier. It's exactly the kind of review of the vehicle that people want, AND it's a lesson in offroading. People want to think they already know how to offroad but the reality is if you go out and buy a Tacoma or 4Runner and put big mud tires on it and never get it stuck, you don't really know how to offroad. You haven't learned how to estimate what you can and can't get through. You haven't learned how to get out of different kinds of situations. You haven't learned how to do recoveries. You haven't learned how to use your vehicle's assist systems that can get you through stuff you wouldn't be able to get through by yourself. Offroading is getting stuck and learning how to get out of it.

Love the vehicle, have no need for 3rd row seats. There needs to be an option without 3rd row and some type of protection plate for the batts. I am not alone, wish Toyota would see this. Gonna miss the 5.7 (I think) probably need to drive the new engine before bitching about it to be fair.

Before you started the engine, I was staring at the infotainment screen and thinking, "Good grief! Is this the Sequoia IMAX Edition?" But then the instrument panel came on, and the iForceMAX logo popped up, and I thought, "Close enough!"

Great review and kudos to the cameraman for braving the cold and getting those great shots!

I had the 08 Sequoia, but it didn’t last that long as it should’ve because I lived in a moist salty area and yeah it rusted out fast. I was actually gonna get the new Sequoia because I heard about it like in 2020 from a friend who worked at Toyota and when I heard it had a V6 twin turbo and I was like oh man if I upgraded the turbo and open it up a little bit then it’ll be super fast and powerful but when I found out about the 3rd row, I’m like yeah that’s useless.

Thing is so cool but idk if it’s 80k cool , I’m pretty sure I can get a Porsche for that money

Great looking suv! Love it! But do you know, I see that this has a 2H, 4H and 4L, but does it also have an Auto feature to switch between 2H and 4H automatically as needed? If not, I'd be disappointed, and would welcome any thoughts you might have on if that's a big concern or not. Thanks, and either way, thanks for a great video. Snow country is my country.

This is a new body style and the suckers are buying these up at a high price. Once the suckers are done buying and this body style isn’t new and exciting anymore, the price will stabilize or come down.

Toyota actually caused me physical pain with the vehicle.

Those mirrors make it look like it has some big ears. I don't like the look with those big mirrors there way too big

so this car is always on 2WD unless you manually select 4H or 4L?

Tow mirrors do not belong on any off road vehicle.

My 2015 Honda Pilot would of climb that last hill. Remove stability control off and gas it momentum speed all the way up 4wd

Agreed! The 3rd row being mandatory is a deal breaker. I DO NOT want a 3rd row. Disappointed about the lesser tires too, especially for that much money.

You should have brought 4 tire chains.....it' would have been a lot easier.

It concerns me that the sequoia is 5 inch wider and 1500lbs heavier than the 4Runner with only 9.1 ground clearance with no option to adjust the suspension height on demand. I feel it’s more likely to get stuck in snow and caught in a ditch due to the trucks width in tight corners…and once youre stuck- YOURE STUCK!

Hello. I like Toyota's reliability, but I don't understand why they make it so uncomfortable. For example, I have a 4Runner and Highlander 2022, but the third row of seats is not removable, but foldable. This creates a very low ceiling, placing a few suitcases and that's it. I hate this. Why can't the 3rd row of seats be removed?
