overkill of a comparison.... just get one or the other and start flying guys!
Ответитьwhere is sa link for the raw files?
ОтветитьHey Billy, thank you for this content. I know this is an older post, but last year I was considering the mini 2 but did not pull the trigger. Now the mini 3 with avoidance and other features looks attractive. My sole purpose of purchasing my first drone would be for recreational purposes, use out when gravel cycling, around the house or at a park. I noticed the Mavic air 2 (not s version) price is attractive vs the new mini 3. Would the air 2 be more than adequate for my purposes? Or am I looking over anything vs the mini 3 other than weight? thanks in advance for you feedback.
ОтветитьSo helpful, thanks! Going to Greece soon and decided on the Mavic Air 2. Had to register, take a test, and obtain an EU distant pilot license but it only took 3-4 hours to complete this process and 50 eur where I live in Germany. Excited to get out there and fly legally! Happy flying fellow droners!
ОтветитьDJI mini 2 combo or normal air 2
Ответитьmini for me.
ОтветитьI had the Inspire 1 previously and lost it in a house fire. Although it was a fantastic drone in many ways (in it's day), it's absolute downfall was size. I previous to that had a Phantom and it was still clumsy to transport in a recreational setting. Where I live in Canada, we have many outdoor activities and several of those are in winter. After watching many of these reviews, for me, the mini appears to be a size that I can carry inside my parka to keep warm and ready for colder flying (I use to fly my Inspire in well below freezing temps, but had to heat the batteries on the dash defrost of a vehicle). I can see the mini coming with me on a snowmobile, hiking, skiing, etc and be able to keep it warm for when I want to use it. In my experience, convenience will almost always win over similar performance. I also lost all my full-frame camera equip in the fire and replaced with micro 4/3rd's and love the convenience and especially weight.
ОтветитьBoth these drones mini 2 and air 2 use Occ 2 WiFi signal, however the Air two seems to get signal better at longer ranges vs the mini. I was wondering if the Air had bigger antennas or more transmission power?
Has anyone else noticed this in real world flight ?
you still need a part 107 to make money!
ОтветитьIf I to glue airtag on it, will it affect how the drone flies?
ОтветитьIf DJI mini had active track modes i would be the best drone 😩
ОтветитьHi. Which one is goggle compatible? Which one has a hdmi out that is?
ОтветитьI looked into a couple of videos on the same topic, this one was decisive. Thank you. Liked subbed
ОтветитьGood job 👍
ОтветитьI want something light to take with me when I go hiking . Is the air too heavy to carry around ?
ОтветитьI gotta say your color grading from d-cinelike made the image (video) look unnatural to the eye. Perhaps it was too vibrant or the shadows were off
ОтветитьRealtor here - Billy is correct in summary parts- two points he made are right on for me: in post I have to zoom up lots of times to get a close up of our subject and don't want to run the danger of flying into a tree so the higher mp is worth the extra price - to me. second, the unit - the Air is better as it can fly in more windy conditions. I started a year ago w a Mini 1 - learned to fly it and got lots of great vids and pics and lots of experience. But, many days I can not fly as wind is to high,,, 25 MP gusts and up plus again, i stay back from trees and wires so i need to zoom closer in both videos and stills - So, I am upgrading to an Air very soon - just waiting now for the Air 2s to come out. Again, nothing against the mini just have learned i need more MP and stronger unit against the wind - this guy rocks tanks - talks fast too, luv it LOL
ОтветитьHi, I can't find the link to see the photos in full resolution
ОтветитьHow could one be better than the other for beginners?....They are identical except for size and camera/sensor. The active track on the Air 2 would have nothing to do with being better or worse for a beginner....
ОтветитьI have a Mavic air 1 and bought the mini 2. Love the mini 2 plus I have flown the mini 2 in 30mph wind which I don’t recommend but it did very well
ОтветитьFirst person I have seen with a download link though!! 👊🏽
ОтветитьSo I want to get into all of this. I want to do drone videography for professional work. Do you think getting the Air 2 is worth the extra cost. I know I’m a beginner with all of this, but I want to do this professionally.
ОтветитьRegistration is very easy btw
ОтветитьWhere is the google drive link?
ОтветитьIdk, the Mini 2 seems more appealing to me.
ОтветитьI am upgrading from my original Mavic pro to mavic mini 2 purely cause of the freedom I have to fly this thing almost everywhere as less than 250g....
ОтветитьI don't recommend air 2.
Ответитьwhere is the reference to the materials in the description?
ОтветитьHi. I would like to learn to fly drones from zero. Which is the right choice? Which has the less risky more pleasent learning experience. I would go for the Mini 2, but having all those sensors to avoid obstacles, the Air 2 is very attractive and reassuring to avoid catastrophic crashes, behave better with windy conditions, and having a more robust construction! I would appreciate your advice!
ОтветитьI would get the mini 2 if had active track modes.
ОтветитьStart off with the cheaper mini2 and if you get bored of it or crash it you're not that deep in your pockets for it. I think most of us can agree the Mavic2 isn't worth two mini2s. I'm sure there are folks that can add sensors to it and pretty much make a mavic mini2 maybe sell under that name as an off shoot.
ОтветитьHey mate great vid, can you do a drone screen share vid please?
ОтветитьAs someone who bought the Mini 2 with alot of reviews pointing to or saying "The mini 2 will make you a better pilot, and help you learn how to fly" because of its lack there of sensors, it really really sucks when you're practicing and inadvertently plow the front of the drone into a tree and completely destroy your $600 investment.
ОтветитьSpeaking as a VERY beginner drone "pilot" I got the Mini 2, biggest is price, and THAT is why the Mini 2 is the better done for beginners... Obstacle avoidance is good, but isn't not flying a drone (of any kind) with your head up your ass.. I have yet to hit anything with mine, because I pay attention to what I am doing.. Comparing these two for beginners is kind of a waste of time...
ОтветитьI love the camera on the Air 2. It's a lot clearer, and cleaner looking. Also brighter. Me personally, if I had to pick one over the other. It would definitely be the Air 2, but I do love the size of the mini 2 better. Great video.
ОтветитьGreat comparison, this really helped me. Thank you!
ОтветитьHey, I say fees for registration is not a big deal when you compare those 2 drones? I thinking this video is more to promote Mini 2. Hope to find more reviews about video and image quality. Thanks
ОтветитьThanks for the review...more divided then ever😂...on buying my first drone.
ОтветитьFor better flying safety , air 2
For better video performance , air 2
For portability, mini 2
For the flying rule , mini 2
For the budget , mini 2
Just holding out getting an air 2 and waiting for dronelink and litchi app to support mini 2. Mini 2 features are fine for me but can open up more with these apps for just an extra $20-$40.
Tough choice when that time comes😂
Just deciding between mini 2 or Air 2. Was originally tempted by Air 2 but seems mini may be better as will be my first drone and it has less restrictions. I see they are both 4000 video. I have noticed though that the mini seems to jump slightly in some demonstration videos as it moves around rather than being smooth. Is this because of 30fps as opposed to the 60fps of the Air? Or is it perhaps just something happening in videos where the light is not optimal? Any insights appreciated. (By the way the mini didn’t jump in the above comparison that I noticed, but has in some other videos I’ve seen)
Ответить249 g all day, it has the same wind resistance as the Air 2, who was my previous drone, sold it and bought the mini 2, with almost the same battery time and wind resistance and the freedom that 249 g brings it's just chill. It also seems that ahead in time the mini will go under the radar as the CE marking come 2023 that will make your bigger drone pretty much useless in a couple of years.
ОтветитьBut don't you still have to get FAA certified to fly a drone commercially? I thought you had to get a FAA license if you're making money from your videos regardless of the drone
ОтветитьJust picked up a mini 2 to use for real estate work in NJ. Thanks for the video, it helped my decision.
ОтветитьThanks..now i know what to buy...its help a lot
Ответитьone big difference is for europe, with its new drone rules, a mini 2 can fly everywhere, an air 2 is only permitted 50 to 150 m from human and houses, so only at deserted areas, and mini2 inside cities , so the less quality isnt so important if its forbidden to fly
ОтветитьHave the links to the sample photos been removed or am I blind??
ОтветитьVow you are talking fast in your videos...
ОтветитьMan fuck mini 2 and air 2 just give me mavic 3
Ответить
