Wow, I just met Carol Ann Ford at a sci fi convention in April! Another fan asked her if she'll ever come back to Doctor Who and she said "if I do, I'll blow a kiss to the camera for you" - I bet that fan was jumping up and down when she appeared!

Worth it all to have Carole Ann back. I've been waiting for this for a long time. Admittedly, I was hoping Susan would return during the Capaldi era, as I could TOTALLY see them having outstanding chemistry. But I will absolutely take this. What a gift.

Shame on you Doctor for taking this long to remember to come back for Susan. It was kind of mean to leave your teenage granddaughter with a man she'd just met, she didn't ask to stay behind, The Doctor just decided he knew best and it was time for her to grow up. For shame. I knew Susan was still alive though. I held faith.

So uh.... does this mean Susan will be making a long-awaited return soon?

I genuinely squealed when she showed up on the episode ❤ I wondered if they'd bring any of the original who villains/companions back considering ncutis run is basically a hard reset and THEY DID! I hope the last couple of episodes are good because I'm genuinely enjoying this season so far and it's been years since I've enjoyed doctor who. After the ponds left imo the show went downhill and have barely started climbing back up. I wouldn't mind another season of The Doctor and Belinda 😁

Carole Ann Ford is so witty and delightful! From what I've heard, she's wanted to reappear on the show for a very long time now. I thought she was going to finally get her chance last year. She seems so happy to finally return

That wasn't an interview so much as a monologue from Varada Sethu. She asked Carole Ann maybe two questions, then yammered on about her experience on the set.

I love how excited she is to be back! And just her energy in general. I hope we get to see her and Varada share the screen on the show because they have amazing chemistry together.

So glad to see they've kept her character female - even better to see her played by Carol Ann Ford! Must be some sort of record. Also hope to see Romana and the Doctor's 'artificial' daughter Jenny return (also as original actresses or at least as female incarnations).
