Who knew that something as ordinary as a 1970s Lincoln Memorial penny could be worth a small fortune today? It’s wild to think we used to let these slip through our fingers without a second thought. Just goes to show—sometimes the real treasure is hiding in plain sight, jingling in a drawer we haven’t opened in decades.
ОтветитьLove The 1980's
ОтветитьYes new video.❤
ОтветитьDefinitely the BMX bikes the more aluminum colored parts cooler the bike was! The lighter faster and it was the transportation of kids! 😮😊❤
ОтветитьStar Wars absolutely has transformed the studios! They made billions of dollars off the movies, toys etc! And the vinyl records! And quality Music equipment!
ОтветитьA whole lot of fighting on the road trips from Los Angeles to To Roswell New Mexico to see grandma and grandpa and aunt Ashlyn!
ОтветитьNever had a bowl cut!
ОтветитьShit you were poor if you got school lunch my dad made 100.00 or something like that more than the requirement for free lunch! He was an engineer still working at 85 still doing a job doing that! Absolutely amazing! Boy he likes that paycheck! Coming in! And he gets away from my nagging mom! 😮
ОтветитьIt still was racial jokes were normal! You would never get away with that today!
ОтветитьThey were selling pot at those arcades! I remember one place my brand new mongoose bike was stolen there! Some guy put custom parts on it I actually kept the serial number and called my dad he took the bike and called the cops they took the kid and bike to jail I had to go to court to get it back but my brothers bike was nowhere to be found! Brand new 1 month old and stolen there!
ОтветитьFred Roger’s actually was a sniper in Vietnam! We never knew it till way later in life after he died! 😮
ОтветитьThat rock was so stupid! I don’t know how it sold? 😮
ОтветитьI have an old VHS of Enter the Dragon a collector edition I wonder what that would be worth still in case.
ОтветитьStill have my first train set
ОтветитьWhat a nostalgic ride! The editing, music, and narration were spot on - felt like a blessing to revisit the '70s.
ОтветитьPennies 🥺? I'm Canadian, and we haven't used them for over ten years. Who would have imagined what had been such an important part of my childhood would become obsolete, resulting from inconvenience.
I remember my Dad coming home from work every Friday night pulling all the change from his pockets, and our allowance would be his pennies. My brother and I were so excited to split them up and put them in our banks. For one penny, we could buy 5 penny candies 🍬 , a pixie stick, or a gumball from the machine. If we were feeling adventurous and full of candy, we could go and put it on the train track going back the next day and hunt for it. Finding it all flat and shiny never got dull. Pun intended. When we got it home, we'd hammer a hole in it, scratch on our initials and make it into a necklace, and wear it till our neck turned green and mom sent us for the scissors ✂️ Those were the days. 5 cents maid you rich for the day. Don't even get me started on quarter.😂
I 💚 love this show it really is like a time machine.
Anyone who owned cats in the 70s and 80's curse shag carpets.
ОтветитьWhore Members is a very strange name for a nostalgia channel.
ОтветитьIt's crazy to think that some of the stuff we threw out or gave away in garage sales is now worth thousands. My parents had a few of these items just lying around. If only we had known, we’d be retired by now. Hindsight really is 20/20.
ОтветитьI had no idea some of these toys and gadgets are now collectibles. Back then they were just everyday items. Now people are paying a fortune for them on eBay. Makes me want to dig through every thrift store in town.
ОтветитьThis video made me want to raid my grandma’s attic. You never know what hidden gems might be sitting in an old box. It’s wild how collectibles gain value just by surviving time. The 70s really left behind some treasures.
ОтветитьSome of these look so outdated now, but that’s exactly why they’re valuable. Nostalgia is a powerful thing. People will pay big just to relive a small piece of their childhood. Makes me look at old junk a little differently now.
ОтветитьMy dad still has a few of these items in our garage. He never throws anything out, and now I finally understand why. He’s been sitting on a goldmine all this time. Time to start digging!
ОтветитьI wonder how many people have these items just collecting dust without realizing their worth. There’s probably a fortune sitting in closets across America. Makes you think twice before tossing anything. Vintage is the new gold.
ОтветитьThis just proves that trends always come back around. What’s old becomes cool again, and then suddenly it’s worth a ton. The 70s might be long gone, but the value clearly isn’t. Great video.
ОтветитьNostalgic ride indeed, my youth and life has been spent in the UK, but what has been shown here clearly is old fashioned, but reflects real life experiences for me based in the UK. The modern world by comparison is awful. I understand that many good things may have happened since for treatments of ill health ETC, but tech stuff has ruined childhoods and futures which only prevent boredom by flooding the mind of rubbish. Nothing natural - just synthetic life competitions now. Love this video !
ОтветитьI literally gasped when they showed the LOTR Knickerbocker set 😱 My cousin had one back in the day and we DESTROYED it playing in the yard. Who knew it’d be worth a fortune now??
ОтветитьMy uncle had one of the first Apple computers. Sold it at a garage sale for $25 in the ‘90s. We still roast him for it 😆
ОтветитьI legit had that Evel Knievel stunt toy as a kid. I launched it off the porch so many times—it’s probably still on the roof.
ОтветитьWatching this was funny, cheared me up and my laughing out loud got my son intrigued and interest in what I found so funny. This I'm glad to say led him to come and sit with me on the couch to watch this.I'm 56 years old and have 3 sons ,36,28 and 20 in 2 months time and also my youngest still lives at home. Being reminded of these things gave me a happy warm feeling,it gave Mr . Were you born in the black and white days???a laugh at me!!!that's when the old feeling jumped in. My son is genuinely having a laugh and it's with me not at me. We both had a good laugh watching these things, some of them I had a story for, thank you for putting this together ,it gave me some time with my son without him looking at his phone and he has even said would I look for something more like this, much love xxx❤❤
ОтветитьI'm a 1970's kid I remember my flares always got stuck in my bike chain until the bike clips came out which stopped my trousers getting damaged.
