"We want to know what you saw." Cut to black. Great editing.
Ответить@BGo93 If a mob of drugged out people starting pushing your stuff over and spitting on you, would you pop them with a loaded pool cue?
Ответить@frostedhead Haha, why don't you start and set the example tough guy.
ОтветитьWatch this movie it is my favourite doco ever. (the full length Mayles brothers)
Ответить@Heathledgerjoker1234 You may not have been alive after that concert.
Ответить"There were four births, four deaths, and an awful lot of scuffles."
Ответитьthis turned out to be the rolling stones worst nitemare !
ОтветитьI am glad I wasnot there
ОтветитьSonny Barger is interviewed on the movie.....he comes over as an ignorant cave man.
Ответить@JohnACorp782 How the hell were the hippies messing with the Angels? The Hells Angels came to Altamont that day to create havoc and they did it all to well.
ОтветитьOne of best documents movies, which i saw about the rolling stones.
Ответить@Heathledgerjoker1234 Seeing the Stones for free would've been epic, but be glad you weren't alive to attend this particular concert.
ОтветитьI'm just wondering what the Frisco Angel is thinking at 2.10
ОтветитьDespite Brian Jones death, the Stones were in the top at that time. The Jimi Hendrix Experience , Janis Joplin The Doors, Led Zeppelin beginning, the Beatles (regardless almost splitting). The late 60’s was the greatest time to Rock’n’Roll.
Ответитьlet's stop & look at this critically for a moment. if one murder occurs in an average american city of 300,000 people, most people wouldn't take that to mean that america's democratic experiment is a failure. so if one murder occurs at a rock concert with 300,000 in attendance, why would anyone take that to mean that the counterculture was a failure? we've got to apply the same standard.
Ответитьhells angles only good in a gang weak cunts
Ответить4 deaths and 4 births => TIE! great :D ROCK ON! :D
ОтветитьThe concert event that changed everything... sadly, for the worst. A sad chaotic blow to the counter culture era.
ОтветитьEh...... apparently the Hell's Angels in England were much more relaxed than the Hell's Angels in America. Some people should have done their research before hiring them, but then again when you want to pay someone with beer you have few options.
Ответить@roadcaptain71 They took off when they saw the strife
Ответить@MrAzdaz The rolling stones are the ones who hired the Hells Angels because there is an organization in London called the Hells Angels. What the rolling stones didn't realize is that the Hells Angels in America had no relation to the Hells Angels in London. In London the Hells Angels where a peace organization as opposed to the U.S.'s Hells Angels. The Rolling Stones released a formal apology for the misunderstanding and the tragedies that occurred at the concert.
ОтветитьWHAT IS NAME OF SONG AT THE BEGINNING THIS VIDEO? HELP PLEASE!
Ответитьdindn know if understodd correctly: 4 BIRTHS ? ? ? reported
ОтветитьIt was never proven that Meredith actually had a gun.
Ответитьhas anyone done any research on the possibility of fbi instigation of the bad vibes at altamont?
Ответитьi saw a bottle of wine with 100 hits of acid and the hells angels ladys with wipps im gone
ОтветитьHell's Angels + $500 worth of beer on a truck with ice = you figure it out...
ОтветитьAccording to the court records, the jury/judge were satisfied that there was a gun and in the end, that's what decides how the day wraps up
ОтветитьYes, hippies were dropping them everywhere at the time. 9-months pregnant did not preclude a trip to a free concert. Maybe a trip to the free clinic could've prevented 9-months pregnant. =P
Ответитьdon't forget they man they killed was pointed a gun.. and of course the crowd kept storming the stage because the stage was SHORT (which was why they had the hells angels in the 1st place)... and it was short because the location of the festival was changed and the stage had to be built fast
ОтветитьHell Angels are better than Roling Stones !
ОтветитьUh... Isn't that the point of a gang?
ОтветитьIn a Pigs eye
Ответитьsad....yeah, sad that a criminal tried to assassinate Mic Jagger. Agreed, but it would have been much sadder had the assassin succeeded, eg. Lennon's assassin Chapman. Now that would have been far more sad.
Ответитьwhat 4 people left this earth then? I must have missed something
ОтветитьOh I heard it, 4 deaths.
ОтветитьI kinda think that the whole band wanted this just as much. Granted, Mic was /is the Lead man, but Keith also had/has a lot of say as to whether or not he will tour/play
Ответитьquestion: had the Hell's Angel not stopped the dude with the gun, and then the guy got off a shot at Jagger, or Richards, how would that have been better than taking out the dude with the gun? Please explain
Ответитьyes, but you still fail to address the point as to the man with the gun. Somehow you selectively/cherry pick that would be murderer/assassin as not even relevant. Explain the logic to that , if you can.
ОтветитьSo, Meredith brings a gun to a concert? Maybe it is not a good idea to bring guns to a concert? just sayin
ОтветитьCarlos Santana..and no doubt worth more than you are to snot!
ОтветитьSam Cutler
ОтветитьOkay, here's the inside story. That the Stones were playing, was to be kept a secret. The concert was supposed to have been held in Golden Gate Park. The Stones, wanted the crowd size to top Woodstock, which was held right before this. So, according to story, they leaked that they would be playing. San Francisco officials were furious, and canceled the Golden Gate Park concert. So, AT THE VERY LAST SECOND, the Stones picked Altamont Speedway. However, it was no way prepared at all, hence the totally inadequate stage, and the mind blowing decision to hire the Hell's Angel's for security, except nobody hired anyone to protect the people from the Hell's Angels.
ОтветитьWhat i wanna know is who had the bright idea to hire the hell's angels? What was the manson family busy?
ОтветитьThe.rolliing stones are the best rock group ever.and this is the best rock film ever made,
Ответитьive tried listening to the stones a lot, but it sounds so boring. I prefer the kinks, jam and the who from this era. songs are far more catchy
ОтветитьHow come everybody in this film got old- except Mick.
ОтветитьWould you like to know the name of the song?
please
I heard about this documentary from John Potash's "Drugs as Weapons Against Us" a must read/see. Brian Jones was murdered and "they" tried to kill McJagger at least twice. Hendrix, Lennon and Jones would have started a band together, the untold lost songs due to CIA involvement in US media and culture is beyond cultural genocide. The America and Americans you see are not, they are victims of a massacred culture of who we truly are, who're too afraid and threatened to tell the truth.
ОтветитьBunch of commies!
