Awesome job. Congrats on becoming parents. Hardest job ever and a bless from God.
ОтветитьLove the entire conceptual scope of the property. I wish it was legal in more places!…if only it would be easier for people to live in all the empty spaces and allow people to profit too!
ОтветитьAccessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) , I'm so educated now.
ОтветитьThis is a very tiny tiny house 😳 Cute though!
ОтветитьA shame that this young couple dont realise that "legislation" is bullllshhhyte and NO ONE has the authority to tell you how to live your life in your own home.
And the climate crisis is even more of a bullllshyte lie
Is was all so beautiful
ОтветитьDo you get rent from these people
ОтветитьYou are crazy for living in Portland nowadays.
ОтветитьOh gosh I wish I had seen this a year ago! I’ve been trying to find an already built affordable tiny house that I could move to Portland in. This is an ideal situation, and I hope that I can find a scenario like this one soon.
ОтветитьGreat tiny homes, with some great ideas.
ОтветитьSince you share your property with your friends for tiny house on wheel , what utilities have you provided ?
ОтветитьNice couple.
ADU's are acceptable to suburban home owners, because they get to have a rental home in their backyard for extra income, but these communities fight tooth and nail to prevent others from buying small lots and building tiny homes independently.
Sweet!
ОтветитьWow, what a great use of your property! Great to let your house pay for your lifestyle, and to enjoy your friends in your backyard!
ОтветитьCongrats on the additional family. Did you sell the tiny house yet?
ОтветитьI love the idea’s from airbnb, the tiny house from friends BUT was disappointed with the interior design of the ADU specifically the Bedroom being open and in front of the couch. I might design it in another way like the bedroom being “private” like a wall or placing it like beside the comfort room. The couch would now face the kitchen..
Also, the shoes being put under the bed was just..I mean just imagine the dirt. Idk. I just find it weird..
I love the combination of community and eco living. ❤
Ответитьsomething's going on with the ceiling
ОтветитьThe upspeak is killing my me
ОтветитьMy grandma raised me because my parents couldn’t be parents. This affected me growing up but I learned early to recognize the bad of my parents. Before having kids I went to counseling, read several books, and constantly reading articles to be the parent( not friend) I wish I had growing up.
Ответитьthese videos are just for people to hock their shit at you "come stay here and give me money" or "come buy the tiny home i fucked up on so i can make myself a better one"
ОтветитьWonderful. This was 2 for 1. I enjoyed seeing both dwellings and learning, especially from the 2nd couple. I just excited once again about decluttering and minimizing the ‘things’ in my home. This gave me loads of motivation actually. Loved the bathroom! Hope you’ll continue to have a healthy friendship and too the couple expecting a wonderful healthy baby.🎉
ОтветитьI'm from the Midwest and had never heard of ADU's before. We have VBO's (vacation by rentals) rand Air B&B;s as well here in SW Michigan. Many communities here have actually outlawed them because the homes here are being bought up by corporations who rent them out during the summer seasonal months. And this sometimes means larger groups, lots of noise, vacation parties and fireworks in the middle of the night which disturbs the local residents. This has caused multiple issues in the neighborhoods as well as fewer homes available for families who need homes. Personally, I would much rather have tiny homes in our community with year-round residents who are invested in the neighborhoods. I love how you have created such a great a habitat in such a small space - just genius! I'm thrilled that Portland has accepted these tiny homes as my son live in Portland and someday when I age, and my retirement savings runs out, I might need to live in a tiny home on his property. I am thrilled!
ОтветитьAre these guys still in Portland? I’d love to contact them to get tips. I’m currently doing this same 3-unit setup on my lot in Portland
ОтветитьThat bed is cute the way you did it.thanks for sharing.i wish there was space around me for tiny house.i would like between Clayton and Henry
ОтветитьBeautiful couples living life intentionally and such a wonderful place they created. What a garden!
Ответитьbeautiful abodes. just wondering why a baby makes a difference ..you have heaps of space..we had 3 in a lot less area than you have.and what a safe enviroment ...id wait
ОтветитьNope, too communal cult like.
ОтветитьThank you for the advice not only showing us your tiny home that's beautiful but the advice about purging things as I look at my living room I'm thinking boy is she right❤
ОтветитьI loved this and hope to one day start a community like this but on a larger scale. Getting back to self sustaining life living is the way we all should be living. Just my hopes and opinions.
ОтветитьVery cute space and great design
ОтветитьGreat ideas!
ОтветитьUm lindo projeto, 🙌🏼porém há gatos domésticos soltos e isso tb prejudica o meio ambiente. É importante mantê-los em ambientes telados e com estímulos para que eles se divirtam . 😘
ОтветитьLove the design of the adu!! what is the sq ft?
ОтветитьSo lovely!
ОтветитьCould you please define ADU. I don't recognize that.
ОтветитьLove the whole setup 💞
Makes for a good example for others
What’s the outdoor spa? Where’d you buy it?
ОтветитьLove the ADU and the garden very very tastefully done!!!
ОтветитьBathroom tile is beautiful. Wood stove is really pretty.
Ответить❤️
ОтветитьToo bad that many states or communities don't allow more than one recidence per lot. And too bad that this channel interrupts to with a commercial.
ОтветитьFOOT peddles!!
ОтветитьThe ratchet straps are interesting. And Baltic birch plywood
ОтветитьGreat video. Beautiful and inspiring granny and tiny. I relate to these forward-thinking values of what is really important: Free time, less is more, economic freedom and simplicity... These homes reflect this. Great job! Thanks ;-)
ОтветитьReally Cool though built ins flooring, Murphy bed, storage really cool!👏🏾👏🏾😁❤ CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR HOMES, AND THE NEW BABY COMING!
ОтветитьGorgeous All of the homes Great job!👏🏾😁❤ the open floor plan, decor is Gorgeous!
ОтветитьBoth homes are amazing. The ADU is spacious! The tiny home with that murphy bed is wonderfully functional. Love the stove as well. And Kudos to living there for 4 years!!!🎉
