That's a cool chair.
My only nitpick is the back rest... A curved one would feel even better imo.

Nice chair. It is probably comfortable.
I live in the Adirondacks and that is NOT an Adirondack Chair. I've made minor adjustment to mine to make it a little easier to get in and out. You can only adjust heights and angles just so much before you need a new name.
Maybe you could have an online contest to come up with a name for your fine looking chair.

the armrests are installed on the wrong sides. Typically the concave should face inward

Your version sucks the chair is made and designed to lay back in and relax...

You Could of just increased the length of 4 boards and you wouldn’t even of had this problem…

(he had a compact modernized version of the chair to start with, just increase the length of the boards touching the ground and it naturally would sit higher off the ground)

I thought I was the only one who thought Adirondack Chairs sat too low to the ground. I remodeled and built my own version too. In fact, your version is very similar to mine the only difference is I made my back support adjustable. I had the same leg construction as yours. Great job on your upscaled version, it looks great.

Nope! I prefer the before by far!!! Who wants to get up anyway, they are so comfortable. You just built an ordinary chair out of wood..😅😅

I know this is an older video of yours (nearly a year old). I'm an older guy and my wife and I will never be able to sit in a low adirondack chair. Your build is perfect for us. I went to your site ready to buy the plans.... and to my dismay, there aren't any?!?! I'm gutted. I was really excited to finally make my first 'real' woodworking build. It's a shame you never posted the plans.
