Is it optimal to set the keyboard device to the same affinity core as you did with the gpu and mouse as well?

My slept time doesnt change. always 15.2ms, same goes with delta. but my resolution is 0.6ms

My Delta io doesn't change by moving mouse or holding, it stays at 0.

Great video, applied all of these tweaks and internet / games, pretty much the whole system feels so much snappier.. using a 5930k and gtx 1080ti so these tweaks are really helping out alot.. keep it up ❤

how do i tell which core is the busiest?

so i tried to set affinities for my GPU in the configuration tool and i have the gpu named as 1080TI but when i try to set it to core 4 let's say, it shows that error and i think nothing changed because i run latencymon and core 0 is having a blast, overloaded. do i have to change the affinity in the PCI express Root Complex in order to affect my gpu in the Configuration Tool? also is there a registry i can modify to be sure that my gpu has changed to other core?

I didn't have the key 'Parameters' under 'mouclass', i triple checked the path is identical.
should I create the key with all the values? or could it cause harm and I should just skip this part?

I set my mouse data que size to 500 then restarted to see if it was doing anything, it did not do anything.

I created a key/folder called Parameters
In Parameters:
I created a D Word (32bit) Value called MouseDataQueueSize
In MouseDataQueueSize:
I set the valuedata to 500
Pressed ok then restarted
When I restarted & opened the address again:
A string value called WppRecorder_TraceGuid was present

Did I do something wrong?

Is it fixing dpc latency too?

completed all steps now my games seem to be only utilizing cpu 0 :(

Thank you by changing csrss o got less inputlag but my ping which was 35ms went to 60ms constant so....any idea what to do

My mousclass doesnt have parameters?

The interrupt and gpu priority stuff didn't work for me, it made some games feel worse and other games didn't even boot up anymore. But the csrss process priority and mouse data queue tweaks did work and they actually improved the input lag by a noticeable amount. It's even visible in my aimlab scores, I'm getting above average scores pretty much every run. Kinda crazy to think that all these years I could have had a much more responsive system for free...

All this is probably why Team Fortress 2 feels so much better on optimized linux distros... I'm gonna have to watch this a couple more times to understand any of it, god damn there's so much stupid shit going on in windows.

I can't seem to find the mousedataqueuesize in registry.

What about the other IRQ priority you have set in your registry? should we do these as well or only the one from the GPU?

In the Interrupt affinity policy tool.
I do not have PCI Express root PORT.
I do see PCI Express root COMPLEX.
But I also have my gpu named specifically 3070ti in the list. but it give an error ''value unexpected type'' when i click it.
Which should I put on the core with mouse?

i am using wireless headphoness (logitech g733) and i think i started having audio issue (every few minutes, a random sound crackling for a second) after applying these tweaks. also this issue doesnt seem to appear when playing audio through speakers but only when using these wireless headphones

What is IRQ0Priority? and why you have this?

I empathize with some of the content you bring on your channel, a couple of tweaks i felt they worked for me, and seems that you don't want to spread misinformation about these topics but in a sense i don't want this to go as the same direction as Fr33thy channel went, spitting tweaks like "do this because is better, and don't do that because is worst".
Without actual benchmarks confirming that such tweaks works, we end up in a placebo eternal loop. Especially the guys that don't have that much information nor experience to corroborate them.
I'm talking about the "IRQPriority" on PriorityControl which nobody actually confirm/debunked they work or not (in fact i don't think they work), which from my experience they are as placebo as you can get.
About Win32PrioritySeparation i tried them all (Theres a program you can actually try them on-the-fly while you playing and changing them with F1/F2/F3 and so on without Alt-Tabbing), but it feels like they tend to destabilize your system as time goes by.
About Interrupt Affinity and changing csrss.exe they do change how you feel your peripherals, but also you have to know what you are doing. Otherwise you'll end up worst than stock performance.

only criticism is maybe include that text document just copy pasted into the description to make it faster to get to the specific path in regedit that we want to change (although going to it manually takes very little effort and is what i did, would've been very slightly nicer)

ik dis old but for HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\PriorityControl i recommend 1f decimal and 2A is for background services only.

Hey, i hope you respond to this its a great question. So, from what I've come to understand csrss.exe is protected via kernel integrity checks and even with registry changes to the service/program, it wont take effect (Priorities/Io). You can see yourself my using cmd and checking the service with its thread schedule priorities. wmic process list ---- brief in cmd. So how do the registry changes effect the things were trying to tweak if its protected via DSE and Win Tcb.

for timer resolution... there's a few combinations available.... you want to use whatever gives you the least dpc latency on your system.
