SILHOUETTE CAMEO 4 IS DOG SHIT. BUYERS BEWARE. This is my review after 1 year of using it. I spent NINE months troubleshooting. I realized a lot of people had the same problem as I did. D-O-G S-H-I-T. I don't know why every blogger lied and said it was good. Even if I combine 5 different 'solutions' it would still have problems. HONEST REVIEW. I would rather cut by hand than boot up this machine.

Can you please explain about the blade 1&2? When do we use the blade 2??

Hopefully this one does better with vinyl rolls. My current one always give me issues cutting larger vinyl projects. The vinyl goes in straight then rolls out of the rollers 🤦‍♂️

this is the worst shit ever marketed by this company. I've had 3 machines, all defective with little use.
This machine never reads the registration marks and when it reads (by some miracle) the machine makes the cut badly.
I don't understand how they can speak well of this shit, they can only be paid.

For everyone interested in this shit, save your money and buy something else. I spend more time trying to get this piece of shit working than working with the machine.

Can anyone help me? I'm not even able to select the test cut button on mine. Do you need to register your machine before it allows you to cut?

I have Cameo 4. It is nice for cutting paper but it is totally disappointing for thicker materials. Kraft blade is almost useless, I tried several materials with many different settings and works around. It takes a lot of effort adjusting blade each time manually, so it can cut a little bit deeper each time. It almost feels that I could better use scissor than kraft blade. It is very frustrating.

I absolutely hate this machine! I made a couple of cuts, great. Purchased some cut files, cannot use them as sketch, whatever. Try to cut more images (simple cut files, very basic) and it keeps trying to look for registration marks as if its a print/cut file. About to throw this out the window! HATE

The cameo 3 was great but im waiting on my Silhouette cameo 4 to be deliver this video makes so excited. Can you please let me know what kind of transfer paper that is?

Hi, I just bought a new laptop because the one I had was too old and wasn’t letting me setup my cameo 4. However I was able to register it and now that I’m trying to set it up on my Mac laptop it’s not letting me continue with the setup. It says that the number has been registered already and not letting me continue with the setup. I need to instal the program and I can’t... please help🙏

NOPE!! My vinyl moves all over the place. I just opened my Cameo 4 and tried to cut my 1st piece. Y'all should see it. It's funny! I gave up already.

It would be nice if the user manual came with this kind of information instead of having to go searching for it on the internet

This was not a good tutorial, had to keep stopping and rewinding and the music was distracting. Just have someone explain it, don't try to make a music video.

Hello, I just got my new cameo 4 & I’m having problems getting the auto blade to cut my card stock right. I have been searching a lot on you tube & it seems that not that many people do paper crafting. There’s a lot of info about vinyl even from you guys on silhouette. Can you do more tutorials about settings for paper. I have 110lbs cardstock & coverstock which is on your settings is not cutting it. I have switch blades, make sure the blade is properly placed & locked. My mat is placed properly as well. I have a cricut air & it cuts that cardstock, I’m just hoping I didn’t waste my money because all the focus for the cameo is on vinyl. Please help

Can i buy only the cutting knives? I left them on the table and my kid threw them away into garbage.

i find the software hard for the beginner, hope there software app changes it to the likes of cricut

As long as you ONLY want to cut vinyl, this is a good beginning point.

Will the unit cut basswood? if so, how thick?

What is the second cord? One is the power. What is the other one? I thought it was WiFi only.
