Up next: Man builds his own rocket
ОтветитьCould you open source the suite so that we can help you fine tune it and perhaps all use it in the current state of Corona, please :)
ОтветитьYou can go up to 24,000 feet before you start needing oxygen so it’s sad he only made it to 5,000
Ответитьdid he found final frontier design
Ответитьit doesnt matter that he is doing something that has allready been done, he is really loving his own path
ОтветитьThey should employ him as a consultant to see how they could make a space suit more economically viable rather than re using 4 from 20 or more years ago
ОтветитьWhy didn't he study engineering like mechanical and or Aerospace would help him out more in space flight travel knowingly what he's doing more than studying archaeology
ОтветитьI’m confused, does he not know that a hot air balloon can’t go to space
ОтветитьHe didnt even wear the spacesuit that we saw
Ответитьsucks to think very select few people will actually be able to go into space once we start colonizing other planets etc. who will really be able to do that? rich people? genetically superior people? makes you think how people wpuld be selected/curated for such things.
ОтветитьI have so much honour in my heart for this man 😍
Truly admirable ❤️
Nasa in a nutshell
ОтветитьHe is very astronaut worthy. Hes a fucking lunatic that risks his life.
ОтветитьSo inspiring
ОтветитьHONEYYYYY
WHERE
IS
MY PRESSURE SUIT??
Sometimes my genius is frightening it generates oxygen.
ОтветитьHave spacesuit, will travel!
Ответитьwish I could have something to be passionate about as this awesome dude
ОтветитьWhat an inspiring man!
ОтветитьSorry to say that a hot air balloon cant go to space. This man is an old child
Ответитьsus
Ответитьwhat an extraordinary man.
ОтветитьDude’s suit make spacex’s suit look like garden gnome costumes, honestly this guy’s suit looks better.
ОтветитьNASA : sees this video your acceptable we need more spacesuit
Ответитьhe better make a manned rocket now
ОтветитьAmong us
ОтветитьWOW 😳
ОтветитьHow has this not been seen by more people???
ОтветитьI feel like reaching 60000 feet altitude with a hot air baloon is harder than making a spacesuit
ОтветитьYou know when he basically says that he believes fully that he can go to space one day: I cried.
Because I’m the same.
Cameron, I am so happy to see you did this!
ОтветитьWe need more of them COVID is not going anywhere so we All need one
ОтветитьTruly an inspiring story and a great lesson on how far the human ingenuity can take us if we have the right mindset. Awesome!
ОтветитьThe sad part is that the sky is not "outer space". If it was an infinite vacuum, we here on the ground would not be breathing air. Yes they lied about all this "space" nonsense. It's science fiction. The second law of thermodynamics prevents the sky being open to the vacuum of space.
ОтветитьHope he does a book on it.
ОтветитьI didn't know a hot air balloon could reach 60,000+ feet, let alone carry enough fuel to get up there and down again.
When you said your suit was showing 1psi, how could that be? You were basically at sea level. If you meant 1 psid, then the suit would've been at like 16psi which would've made you rigidly immobilized. Just some curious thoughts I had watching this. I do envy your determination and resourcefulness though. I wish you luck!
What a WASTE and CLICKBAIT video. DOWN VOTE.
ОтветитьDr. Smith is currently my professor and he’s the goat
ОтветитьI'm doing much the same thing, different approach.
Hard-shell articulated suit (think AX2 variant) acts to constrain inflation of an inner fabric/rubber suit.
The joints of the rigid suit don't have to be air-tight, making their design/fabrication much simpler.
The air-tight bladder needs some care around elbows and such, but the shells provide the constant-volume constraint needed to reduce operator fatigue and 'inflation posing'.
A lubrication system (lots of grease!) keeps the bladder and shells/bearings from binding or abrasion.
Really good range of motion!
Dunno if this how NASA did it, as I can't find a lot of AX2 'hard-suit' data out there...
No longer you are your own worst enemy you built your own space suit I’m done w yo
ОтветитьWhat university major is for creating Space Suit for astronaut?
ОтветитьGorgeous piece of music (composed?) for this mini documentary. What a guy. I'm rooting for him.
Ответитьdoes this guy have a DIY guide, this would be sick to replicate lol
