ОтветитьI know you said this isn't meant to be inspirational lol, but it is for me! I relate to your journey, so thank you so much for such an authentic video:)
Ответитьmake videos when you get chance, life and your education come first!
Good music too!!
keep goin! u r rock! !..!,
stay safe, train smart! w8in for updates!!! respect!
I'm learning to rollerblade, not skateboard, but found this inspiring anyway! :D
ОтветитьYou could probably do a pop shuv it 😂
You got the motion right
Never stop skating now you have started. It will be the best part of your life, forever.
Ответитьyaaaay, skateboarding!
stumbled on your video because Ricky's reaction on this one was suggested.
Yeah definetely keep it up. This is only the struggle in the beginning. As soon you got the hang of the basic tricks (Ollie, Shove-it, pop shove-it, wheelie) the unrewarding feeling will be gone.
The rest of the process will may seem hard, but only be because the next tricks will be more complex.
But basically it is only the beginning time that feels so unrewarding.
Damn, I need new shoes. You motivated me to go skate again :)
damn it looks like your skateboard was attacked by a lion. lol
ОтветитьMessage of general support 😎
ОтветитьThe Carbonated Life Forms!
ОтветитьPls post more.. we're waiting... you're such a Vibes 💗💗
ОтветитьBeautiful and with enough personality for half a dozen people! Brilliant x👍
ОтветитьPlease keep at it. You've got the perfect attitude toward the learning process. It's refreshing to see someone articulate the fundamentals rather than jump straight to trying a kickflip. It's like reading sheet music verses playing tabs. This is how you get better faster.
ОтветитьGreat progress, keep up the work! your shove-its are almost there, its gonna feel amazing once u land it. i would also recommend you Boneless. its was my go to trick to jump before i learned Ollies. Also, try some Ollie Pick Ups. Rocket Ollies are perfect for that, and its a super cool and casual way to pick up your board.
ОтветитьRicky brought me here, and you're doing well. one thing that can help with ollies, that took me a while to learn too, is leaning your front foot sideways so the bottom of your foot comes up with the front side of front foot still making contact. Doing this during ollie when you go to slide your front foot forward brings the board up higher. Also you can bring your front foot more in the middle of the length of the board when setting up for an ollie. These two things together will help for higher pop and rolling ollies.
ОтветитьI saw your first few skate videos, subbed and then a few months later was watching Ricky and now i am here! I am learning as well so its very fun to see other people progress. Keep it up! I am excited to see where you end up! Good video

ОтветитьSaw you on Ricky's vid, yeah, you're doing great, you've got more commitment than I do, stopped skating after 2 months but still continued watching skate contents, might return to skating oneday

ОтветитьYou are awesome keep going!
ОтветитьDefinitely keep these skating videos up you're making a lot of progress everytime
ОтветитьHell yeah she's back
ОтветитьHey, i still cant ollie well and ik you got it but this guy (who dead ass looked like jesus) told me if i put my hands on soemthing, which was a metal box nearby, i could focus better on my feet and less on my balance, so i could get the ollie then focus on balance y'know?
ОтветитьI want to see more!!!
ОтветитьWatching your videos feel like hanging out with a friend
ОтветитьHelga (Helen), Your skateboard videos are inspiring and it is wonderful to see you try new things that are out of your comfort zone. I look forward to seeing your progress on rollerskates, skateboarding and life.
ОтветитьSaw you on Rickys channel Keep it up Hegla
luv from New Zealand iLikesk8
i don't know if i have something to say, but get used to the way your board feel on your feets, and try to balance the weight equally in both legs when you going for a ollie, that helps me with a lot of tricks and actually helped me to pop like quite high, but for sure experiment new ways to skate and find your own way to do it, since skate is something really personal and keep grinding for tricks when you feel confortable for it, i recommend start with fakie shove-its, since they are easier than regular ones, even nollie to me feels easier, but i don't recommend to just jump right into flip tricks, 180's and fakie bigspin for example are simple tricks that you will feel amazing when landing it and it's not that hard, but for now training ollies to get used with pop is already good enough, don't speed up, i remember to learn ollies and jump right into some obscure tricks for begginers like bs-ollie, halfcabs, fakie fs bigspins and fs shove-its, sure helped me to figure a lot of my nowadays tricks, but not a good thing to start fr.
ОтветитьDOPE
Ответитьkeep making content I love it. feeling like I am not alone in this process :)
ОтветитьYour videos last year inspired me to relearn how to skate, but then I didn't because of illness. I've been thinking the last few days about trying again and as if some weird twist of face you pop up on my feed with this vid.
You absolute legend!
holy fuck u dress so damn well, nice progress i actually quit skateboarding a long ago but maybe i can also come back just like u
Ответитьi just returned from a social media break and i saw you also returned!!! i am so tempted to start rollerskating because of you and fought the urge for more than 1.5 years already but i feel like it might happen soon, while taking your vids as motivation again for sure!!!
ОтветитьWhat size board do you have?
ОтветитьStill skating? Watched Ricky’s reaction to this video.
Ответитьi know im late to the party but i just saw this today,im glad to see youre still skating!
a couple of notes 1) for your shove its, when you are using your hands, look at how you are wrappping your back hand around the edge of the board. That is how you should set your foot up. You want to "wrap your back foot around the edge of the board and push that as hard as you can to get the spin right
2) good job on getting your ollies down better, very proud of you. I found a video of a guy who broke down an ollie in 3 seperate parts. Obviously you have the pop and slide down, next after you pop and slide you want to bring your knees to your chest, then as you do that you want to raise your torso up. For me swinging my arms up as i jump helped me get my ollies higher. Also please please PLEASE! make an ollie video i would love to watch that!
3) i love how you said finding new places to skate. Except for a SKATE PARK! Girl, get to a skate park where there are other skaters who have the experience youre looking for. I work at a skate park and i can PROMISE you, someone there will see you and come over and HELP you. I'm not trying to push you into anything but i can tell you i got alot better once i went to a park found my people and had them teach me what they knew. I am still asking for help to this day and im a full grown human, skaters wil help skaters i promise.
I'm always confused by these new videos on getting started on skateboarding, I don't really see anyone wearing a helmet or protective gear.
ОтветитьThis is really cool I haven't skateboarded in years but I am thinking of getting back into it nice progression
Ответитьu are funny
