The goal of a music artist is to make the audience feel something, and The XX is a great example of how good singing is singing that makes you feel the intended emotions, and you don’t need to have the crazy belting and vocal runs to do that…. In fact there are so many vocalists who can do all that, but don’t make you feel half the emotions these 2 evoke with their voices…
