Major spoilers for dune and dune messiah

Ummmmm don’t his eyes literally fall apart because of a certain war crime that was committed? He’s completely blind (in the traditional sense) and it has nothing to do with blue sclera

I don’t know how you research the contents of the books enough to know Paul goes blind, but not enough to know that he’s blinded by an atomic weapon, or that the explosion burns his eyes out entirely and he’s walking around as a weird, eye-less corpse-looking dude for a while.

Prednisone makes most people insanely angry. Can't sleep. And then you are dreaming while awake. Wellcome to your subconscious.
And it is extremely bitter

Oh you wanna know what spice is?

Read the book's sequels

They explain how spice came to be, and how it created the worms, and guess what

It has nothing to do with any plant from Earth since it comes entirely from an alien desert planet

Sheesh

Paul doesn't loose his sight because of spice and bright light, he looses it because of a stone-burner, a nuclear weapon that creates a pillar of flame and targets eye tissue

I thought spice mostly fits with coffee. Opens the mind. To study before exams. Elongates life(you stay awake longer thus the life you remember is longer.) Has addictive qualities. Paints eyes red though not blue. And stains teeth not lips but near enough.

My dad has watched the old Dune movie and there's even an old video gamee based on that old movie as well that he played. So far he said that the new Dune movie was pretty short because in the old one there were two parts and the new Dune is just the first part.

Some notes, you made a lot of mistakes or oversimplications.
1.of all in Dune, the firemen actually consume the water of their dead friends.
2. In Dune, blue eyes immediately mark you as a fremen, and alienate you. So negative
3. Because Paul’s mother gets addicted to spice, her child (Alia) is born with parental memories, and this trait is passed on, even through Paul after he gets addicted
4. In the book the fremen are mostly viewed as weak by most, only the atriedies see their power
5. In god empower of dune only one guy turns into a sand worm, after more than 300 years.
6. In the “game of thrones style attack” in Dune is actually a joint-attack by the imperium sardaukar, and harkonen forces
7. Only 6 of the 36 books are actually written by the author, all the others are formed from his notes,
8. Spice is literally stated to have the smell and taste of cinnamon.
9. The spice hallucinations you mention are actually just really special addicts seeing the future, but this can be obstructed
10. Oh yeah, and the spice is important in all the books, but it’s only core to the plot in dune, the other ones are mostly a blend of other topics, but since the atreidies take control of the imperium, it means spice is only secondary after the abdication of the parishad emporer

Couple things,
1. the essence of what spice is explained in the books, so you don't really have to guess what it is...(simple version: it's byproduct of one of the sandtrout development stages).
2. I'm pretty sure Paul was blinded from a "Stone Burner" ( an atomic weapon) via an assassination attempt... nothing directly from side effects of spice (otherwise all fremen would be blind).
3. yes, the Navigators use of spice for travel... but it doesn't make them human computers (that would be a Mentat); the spice satuation and consumption by the Navigators helps them obtain various degrees of prescience (basically seeing future possibilities). This, coupled with the "holzman effect" engines (allowing fold space folding) the Heighliners (aka the space ships) allows the Navigators to "navigate" safely through space (relatively speaking).
4. the mathematical "human computer" part is describing the Mentats (humans with a lot of have a lot of training) that consume "Sapho" (think liquid super cocaine, not spice) which amplifies their mental abilities and calculations.

You casually pointed out a flaw of Dune 2021. Zendaya is too famous. Enough to obscure any character she plays. When I watched the movie, I couldn't see Chani. I only saw Zendaya.

Spices drove the exploration of our world and development of trade. The reason we have yet to go beyond our world is that we have yet to find that thing that is worth going elsewhere to get it. I think Frank Herbert was aware of that and used a scifi spice to drive interplanetary exploration and trade.

Actually. No. Colloidal silver only has 2 ingredients: distilled water & silver. Completely safe. It's a myth that colloidal silver "turns your skin blue". NO ONE who's ever actually taken it has had that happen (idk what that "blue guy" took or what was on his skin, but it wasn't colloidal silver). I've used it for years & it helps tremendously with colds, flu, wounds & cuts, even as eye drops. Used it on a kitten's wound & it healed fast as well. So idk what video you did on it, but you already lied on that. No shade. I'm a fan

But the pedant in me must ask: wasn’t spice released by the decaying corpses of Shai-Hulud? Not poop? Wasn’t there a whole bit about the worms being so territorial because spice fields were basically Elephant Graveyards?

The fremen have been exposed to spice for thousands of years and don't go blind, Paul went blind due to some kind of stone burner. You might be confusing mentat with spice effects, spice just enhanced Paul's abilities which was a result of the Bene Gesserit genetic breeding program.

Lastly as not to go to deep into lore Paul is human the universe of Dune takes place in our know universe albeit fictional, Leto II spends alot of time in the memories of his ancestors in earth, so no spice does not exist on earth and cannot be synthetically made if it could Dune would not be needed at all.

The secret of the worms and the little makers was well kept by the fremen and Paul's lineage, not until the Bene Gesserit rediscovered this secret do they learn how to transfer worms to other planets and produce spice successfully.
