Johnston has housed not one person. Housing in Denver is not a topic of discussion. Micro Communities are proven failures. Denver does not possess the infrastructure to maintain these houseless compounds. It is only Johnston "claiming victory." This is the guy who lied about his dashboard protocol when it was discovered by journalists. He then was vitriolic to these same journalists who were performing due diligence and uncovered his false information. This scale of kicking the can down the road is a disaster. Denver requires leaders who possess the maturity and acumen to rectify this houseless crisis.
Ответить“Address the cost of living crisis? Ummmm you should be patting me on the back for providing boxes to the homeless”
ОтветитьThis is such a great thing for homeless people! Hopefully it can help many of them get back on their feet
ОтветитьOutstanding 😮
ОтветитьA nice little camp concentrated into one area...
ОтветитьGoing to turn out like every other great idea. Bet
ОтветитьI hope legal Americans got placed not illegal immigrants!!!
ОтветитьHow excellent!! Lots of clapping for Denver👏
ОтветитьHomes....? Those are sheds ! They've been doing these in Oakland for years now , only to find out they don't like them , too many rules , the homeless have adapted to freedom !
ОтветитьPhoenix needs to do this.. just like Denver’s winter the summers here are just as terrible. Our homeless numbers is over 10k. 😢
ОтветитьMini crack houses.
ОтветитьReally so good 👍👌God bless you for helping the poor and homeless ;;; maybe no fault of their home ;;; it’s the economy
ОтветитьWHAT ABOUT AMERICANS AND OUR VETERANS
ОтветитьIt scares me me the amount of idiots we have in political offices and those who vote them in and continue to be so damn ignorant . God bless us all . Especially the unfortunate liberals 😂
ОтветитьIs it 4 American citizens or illegals?
ОтветитьIllegal dems voters or Americans?
ОтветитьGood job Denver
ОтветитьAmen!
ОтветитьIs there no work houses or prisons?
ОтветитьWe already have micro-communities, they’re called gutters.
ОтветитьIs there a no drug using rule? If so many will not stay there. But for those who are homeless then I say well done, but it’s not the first of its kind.
ОтветитьGod bless Denver!! That’s how you take care of gods people!
ОтветитьI love this! Hold on .. this is to house homeless Americans right, not illegals??
I would like NN to check back in in 6 months.
This is wonderful we need these in NYC
ОтветитьHow much taxpayer money does this cost? Millions and millions. Democrats solution is always to spend and tax your problems away endlessly
ОтветитьColorado makes sure to take care of illegals before it's own citizens just like all blue states and cities. This is a ploy to make him look like he gives a crap about Coloradans. These are proven failures and do not address the causes of homelessness. Maybe address inflation, open borders and all the other insane stupid things these politicians are doing that actually cause these problems, then give a fake photo op to fool you into thinking they are working for the people. Our state and federal governments are completely corrupt and aren't doing anything to help the people.
ОтветитьBravo Denver I applaud you
ОтветитьBuilt for “homeless Americans”. Guarantee in a year or so they’ll be overflowing with non English speaking people…. The homeless will be booted out to make room for the invaders
ОтветитьThey need to do something about what causes homelessness.corporate greed.
ОтветитьThese homes ha better be ONLY for UNHOUSED AMERICANS.! Migrants getting wind of this will spread the word like wildfire and Denver will be inundated with MORE migrants wanting a home of their own. Gotta draw the line somewhere!
ОтветитьGreat Job Honorable Mayor maybe other cities and states will follow your lead and possibly end homelessness all across our Great Nation and " Leave No One Out On The Streets "
ОтветитьSounds like a cool place.😊
ОтветитьGive it a few months, it’ll be a drug central
ОтветитьWe have some tiny house villages around my area (western Washington) and some are for veterans only here.
ОтветитьWith 10,000 illegal homeless migrants crossing Biden's wide open border each day and being released on America streets, it will make it impossible to slow or stop the increasing homelessness.
ОтветитьI feel the mayor's heart is in the right place. But I believe there will be severe unanticipated consequences. This move will attract more and more homeless and illegals to Denver and ultimately Colorado. Is there some form of public service required from the occupant in order to live in this community?
ОтветитьThey're ruining any business near the camp. I already started going to a new dispensary.
ОтветитьKudos to Denver for trying something different.
ОтветитьSomeone, please tell me why this is not being done across America?
ОтветитьFinally...great guy...They still need vacuum cleaners and cleaning supplies....
Ответитьwhat a man. It is cold out. Many of the homeless are veterans. Good way to eradicate homelessness, however with all the migrants crossing over, I am not too sure.
ОтветитьHopefully these will be for United States citizens and not illegals
ОтветитьEugene Or should take a play out of you guys playbook
ОтветитьThank you new mayor for STICKING the cost of another homless site to those who are permanent property tax payers who are angry about supporting those who wish to live "free."
ОтветитьDenver has become absolute trash!
ОтветитьI hope these units are given to the homeless who have been suffering through this cold weather and not the migrants showing up excepting and demanding something the U.S citizens deserve
ОтветитьI make over $30 an hour and I feel like I need one of these to live in. Im not ok with 1400$ rent. Has me contemplating living out of my car.
ОтветитьFentanyl camp 😂
ОтветитьThis is so sweet these are angels that we have here on Earth helping one another this is what life is about this is what we are going to take in our hearts when we go God bless everyone for helping the homeless
Ответить
