I listened to a podcast last night in which Alex Horne was the guest. He said they did the pilot and then all sat down together and decided it was crap. So they turned it around in 24 hours by everyone putting their heads together and coming up with solutions. I am so glad they did. Also, they are taping series 18 now!

Taskmaster definitely improved its format as the seasons progressed. The first few season are not nearly as funny as the later ones. It could also be that I am not a fan of any of these comedians. Especially Tim Key. I find him obnoxious. Not funny.

genuinely the comedic timing of the "if only i found a one year old" moment was perfect. it felt straight from a scripted comedy film. brilliant

It's amazing how quickly contestants learned they could torture Alex as part of the game. Quite the commentary on human nature. Undoubtedly that is one of the reasons the show has had such wild success; he's so accommodating of the insanity and it's edited as deadpan so he takes nothing from the contestants.

For a first season, this cast has incredible banter. The squabbling on stage is priceless. And nothing quite hits like Frank Skinner running after a family with strollers yearning for a high-five from a baby.

The comedic timing of Frank doing the math and saying "now if I could only high five a one year old" followed by him turning and running to the nearest stroller was perfect comedic timing

Award-winning NYTBS Author and Bigfootologist-ologist, Jason K. Pargin recommended this show and I've been nothing short of delighted with these first two episodes. I can't wait for the unfolding culture within the show.

It's funny how Tim and Alex are friends and Roisin and Greg are friends but Frank was the first to sign on to the show

them arguing for long periods of time is something the newer seasons really lack
