2. Be submitted to your husband - be submitted to one another in the fear (awe & reverence) of God. The wife is the key to the husband’s fulfillment of his role
3. Be supportive - he is the head, the human head can’t hold itself up & as the head your husband needs your support
4. Be encouraging - fulfill the role of the Holy Spirit
5. Be an interceder - persistently & faithfully thank God for your husband & pray for him

He would still be with the same woman if he truly loved her like Jesus loves the church

This man is very wrong. He needs to do law well otherwise he is misleading people. A woman having nor fulfilled her responsibility, a man cannot fulfil his. This statement is wrong and wrong indeed.

I had been sick unfortunately couldn’t clean the bathtub for weeks, my financé took the leadership and cleaned the bath, I’m seriously proud of him. He asked me to inspect it and I told him what a wonderful job he did, I want to encourage him to continue helping.

I do not agree because FIRST the man should submit to God according to the Word then the wife should submit to the husband she is PRIMARILY to submit to God if her husband is causing her to fall she needs to stay focused on what responsibilities she can that are in accordance to the Word of God

I married a "Christian" man when I was 21 years old. He was a religion major. His first job was youth pastor. He emotionally abused me for 20 years. He was careful not to leave physical bruises. All of our church leaders told me to submit to him. He almost completely shattered me mentally. I finally divorced him and was shunned by my "church family". I worked for that church as an administrator for over 10 years. When I left and had no support... the pastor cheated on his wife and left her and their 3 children for a fling.

After I went through the valley of the shadow of death... I met a wonderful man. He was agnostic. I, however remained firm in my Christian beliefs. This wonderful man was/is the kindest, sweetest, nicest, most generous man I have ever met whether inside or outside of the organized church. We married and this man is now my Christian spouse. He is smarter than I am in many ways as I get emotional. I'm smarter in some ways about finances, etc. I'm here to tell you that I believe that this is what the Bible is telling you. Submit to one another. Acknowledge each other's strengths and weaknesses. Work together. Would anyone like to tell me where I'm wrong here?

most "christian" women today (those who are involved in a church anyway) take no notice of such teaching. they consider themselves in charge and they are the head of the house and the husband is simply there to support what she thinks and what she wants. Whilst that is wrong, its the way it is in many parts of the UK today and has been for over 30 years!

in today's environment filled with feminism, RedPill, gender war, i had to come to Dereck for advice. I honestly think women have it quite difficult but their discontent is making in much worse. I wish all women who read this find a man, a husband but listen to God, remember you are to help a husband, not to be a queen, men are leaving marriages at exponential rate and there are some bab bad female teachers who are indoctrinating women in how to be strong and powerful and independent but that leads to misery and loneliness because you are supposed to help a man. Stay safe ladies and God please give them a man but first teach them how to be good women and also teach men how to be good men so we play our roles as we were supposed to.
