John frusciante is my favorite musician in general and my favorite guitar player, but I think josh is also such an underrated musician. Something about his spirit is so musically innocent like frusciante, and seeing the two of them together is awesome.

Also a nod to the song Omission from frusciante's Shadows Collide With People album. Josh klinghoffer's voice is like an angel on that song. It was the first time I ever heard josh sing and I thought it was a girl, his voice is so beautiful

P.s. after watching this again, I gotta go back to dani california and watch josh swing the guitar back and forth from his neck while frusciante plays a ripping solo

The hardest part of playing the riff isn’t necessarily the shapes. The shapes and picking combined require more brain power to sync up especially with the tempo. But to add harmony on top of that. Wow John you truly are a God

If it already wasnt so difficult to play this riff getting amused by how he does it while singing backing vocals , I just noticed uses his thumb for the arpeggio of the 2nd part of the riff. Its crazy! ! Atleast for me
