GT7 looks definitely better, but F1 doesn't look like that.
Looks like an issue with HDR settings, HDR midpoint is too bright.

the only advantage f1 23 has is the licensing of f1 stuff like teams and drivers. but gameplay wise it's as good as a mobile game from 2012

Well I have only a PC and do have F1-23 and I like the sounds of F1-23 and the handling around the Spa track or any of the tracks in the game. Why would a F1 car screech the tires in the corners like GT7 does???
I am not a F1 Fanboy but I just buy F1 games to race the tracks in the F1-23 game. Plus I do all my games in VR mode and only use in the drivers seat view. Driving/racing in the behind the F1 car view is un realistic to me.

Can we just point out that the F1 car in gt7 isn’t even an F1 car. The engine cover is wrong, the rear wing is completely wrong, and the engine sound is completely wrong. Looks wise gt7 looks better but as far as making the cars realistic they dropped the ball on making F1 cars.

I think in f23 the HDR irs off, I'm playing that game and looks like in the video after I turn the HDR off because looks too dark.

Gran turismo 7 looks awesome but it’s not an f1 sports game, plus, f1 3 is clearly running on something like medium settings, on ultra it looks extremely realistic, plus plus GT physics are not tuned well for F1 cars, they have to turn at significantly lower speed than in the actual f1 game

I would give it to GT7 here. Lighting just looks more realistic.

Codemasters have never got the lighting right for any of there F1 games.

A game with no killing shooting or stabbing, no wonder the developers refused to add quality graphics, they know where the money is, and it isn't in racing games, and never will be, except for Gran Turismo. So sad.

If you tell someone "look at this video from an f1 car" they will believe its real life when looking at f1 23. Doesnt happen when looking at GT. People will not believe.

En fórmula 1 23 esta usando video de Gameplay mientras que en Gran turismo está usando video de repeticiones en las cuales no son reales al juego, están muy modificadas para hacerlo más espectacular, el sonido del coche en gran turismo no es real, muy bonito si pero no es real, no está bien la comparativa, yo amo gran turismo pero esto no es así

GT7 has better suspension work and much more realistic environments. F1 23 looks more like a game on the Switch and too arcade.

Gt7 worth every penny. Even better with psvr2, best racing sim ever.

Day and night difference.GT7 is just so real, the graphics, the sound of the car, the tracks, how the car behaves in every second, the physics. For me it is what I want from any company out there to make an F1 game line like this.F1 23 or any other of that company looks so fake and has no challenge for anyone to drive those cars. DAY SND NIGHT DIFFERENCE!!
