With millions sick and dying from the virus in the wake of never-ending spikes of global infections, people have struggled to see any kind of light at the end of the tunnel... until they took a moment to look outside their back doors.

A Safe Place (Documentary) covers the positive impact that the COVID-19 pandemic has had on outdoor recreation and wilderness involvement. Including interviews from hikers, beekeepers, hunters, and outdoor biologists discussing the necessity of the outdoors for our social, physical, mental, and spiritual health, this documentary shows the ground we have covered as a society towards reengaging with the outdoors... as well as the distance left to be traveled.
