The Future of Smartphone Cameras? Sony Xperia 1 IV!

Bonjour,
Si tout se passe bien j'achète un nouveau smartphone en fin de mois. J'ai la marque de cœur qui est Sony et j'hésite entre le modèle Xperia 1 IV actuellement à 899€ et le nouveau Xperia 5 V à 999€.
Je sais que le premier avait des problèmes de chauffe mais qui sont aujourd'hui résolu et qu'il s'est franchement bien amélioré.
Le deuxième fait débat à cause du capteur en moins, j'ai cru comprendre que l'écran était moins bon (même si j'en doute) que le 5 IV.
Perso j'ai un Sony Xperia XZ3 et j'ai un usage "standard", réseaux sociaux, vidéo, musique, un peu de jeux mais pas les énormes trucs gourmands en ressources, appel et SMS, bref du classique quoi.
Pourriez vous m'aider à faire un choix en mettant en avant des arguments pour les deux ?

I have sony the xa1 its sucks all of the edges in the screen cannot be tounched type c is not durable but this one i think its good sony improvements are really good

only company that makes sensible devices in every area you want in a smart phone. cannot be matched with any other. Sony fans never go out. only issue is out of this world pricing for these devices. even TVs

This is impressive. Not because it's a zoom lens, because we have had zoom lenses for decades, what is impressive is the tiny ammount of space they managed to fit it in

In all honesty, Sony is really the only phone that might drag me out of Apples ecosystem. Mind you, there's not much that can replace the niche of the 13 Mini.

Had the first or second iteration of this phone it was amazing back then.

Costing is a major concern if we want to reach to the mass audience. The another concern is that weather it is worth what we are paying for ? Or there are alternatives available at an affordable cost with so called premium features. It is the approach that will differentiate the organization not the product itself .It is the after sale service that will bring smiles on millions of faces to ensure brand loyalty.

I like that they don't have the fingerprint scanner under the display. I really hate that trend.

The annoying thing in the USA is how every company/carrier tries to shove iPhone and Samsung down your throat. It's frankly bizarre, and it's almost as if Sony is being intentionally pushed out of the US market by invisible hands. Despite this, I've been sticking with Sony phones for over 10 years now.

I am about to switch this year to sony 1 5 when release. I leave the s22 series behind ..i am a samsung since 2013 , i cant wait to move on sony

Now Sony just needs to get rid of all cameras and have 1 camera that zooms to 10x optical, and a ultra wide.
Hope Xperia 1 5 fixes heating issues and even better cameras. Prob get one. But they need longer update support 2 years is crap.

I hope they put a brighter LED in for the flashlight because the one in the III is disrespectfully terrible. I have the Sony 1 Mark 3 and I love it but has been riddled with software and update issues. It actually turned off this morning and a hard reset wasn't able to fix the problem. Having to use my galaxy s7 with the dreaded pink line until I can figure out what to do with my mark 3.

going to wait until it markets down to 700$ like the mk3
