Interesting. How the H _ is the bullet seen flying BELOW his ear? Especially since the camera angle is from below? Angle = not from a rooftop.

Other commenter pointed out, when a bullet may go 50 feet per second, how can it be in a photo for only about 1 foot and considering shutter speed, how was it even captured?

An AR-15 shoots a 5.56mm round at 2800-3300 fps. If Doug Mills did indeed use 1/8000 shutterspeed, the largest bullet trail is 0.4 feet. Clearly the bullet trail in the photo is 1 foot.

Mr. Mills got a picture of a .224 inch diameter bullet going 3,000 feet per second with a 30 image per second camera? If he was capturing a 10 foot wide image, the bullet would be in front of him for 10 ft / 3000 fps or .00333 seconds. After thinking anout it, much more likely to photoshop a long fuzzy blur...especially after hearing him talk and give testimony that he drinks the kool-aid.

I find it interesting that Trump is the only president that the press refers to as “former President Trump.” All other previous presidents are still referred to as “President” after they leave office.

This man is absolutely amazing, he needs to get a cape! He got a picture of something smaller than a Tylenol caplet going 0.6 miles per second. Maybe Jen needs to scan the data from his camera some more, she could probably find Jimmy Hoffa and the real killers of Nicole Simpson!

Photojournalists, not unlike the Secret Service, converge on the incident. Granted, their job isn’t to protect life as is the USSS, but still, kudos to Mr. Mills and the three other photographers at the podium for their actions. That’s dedication.

Shouldn't the bullet be traveling in a downward trajectory since the alleged shooter shot from the peak of a roof downward to Trumps position . I would like to see elevations of both the roof and Trumps stage. A true an accurate account must be a comprehensive look into even the smallest detail!

If that is a bullet, it's moving up. If the shooter was on the roof, would be moving downward. Second shooter?

This is BS! I have a 20 yr old version of Photoshop, and I could replicate this photo with bullet in about 10 minutes! That's about 1 foot of travel for the bullet and since a bullet fired from an AR-15 with a 16″ barrel travels at about 3,250 feet per second, he would have to be filming with shutter rate of 270 frames per second. That is not reality!

Now this is a guy that is good at what he does.

What were the 30 FPS camera settings for this bullet image? What is the velocity of a .223 or 5.56 at 150 yards? Is this image physically possible?

The math ain't mathing... 1/8000 sec = 0.000125 sec. Approximate bullet travel = 12 inches. Required bullet velocity would have to be 8000 fps. I call BS.

I don't get it. The bullet is flying on a horizontal plane and not at an angle from above on a roof. It seems that it would be shot on the same plane as Trump was standing.
