What i respect the most about Spain is that instead of rebuilding stadiums or transforming them into shopping centers, they invest in green spaces or ecological buildings. I think we should learn from this in Morocco.

Incredibly ad to see the VICENTE CALDERON demolished, the design was top-shelf, the location was top-shelf,
it was like the European version of LA BOMBONERA. I had been to a game while visiting Madrid, Athletico was
playing Valencia, who also happen to have a top-shelf stadium like the old Calderon (the cauldron) I also stayed
across the road from the old San Mames, although no games were on that weekend, who also had a top-shelf
stadium, but Bilbao has managed to "STAY PUT IN THE SAME PLACE" and build something "bigger and better".

Without "rubbing it in" to los colchonero's supporters, they should have also tried to stay at the Calderon, across
the road from the Mahou Brewery, on the curve of the Manzanares River, they had the perfect local for Football
matches, someone, somewhere sold the lie, sold the "estafa" that the club would be better off miles down the road,
in the new, but practically unused Wanda Metropolitana, a nice enough stadium, but way out of the way. I can hear
the people lamenting, the "tunnel" excuse (ruse), they could have built a tunnel under the river, and not under stand.

1. The Vicente Calderon (Madrid) went to 1 game, now demolished, land sold to speculators from China & Australia.
2. The Santiago Bernabeu (Madrid) did the "guided tour", saw the "stacked" trophy room, stadium being remodeled.
3. The Camp Nou (Barcelona) went for 2 separate game, 1 Champions, 1 La Liga, about to be remodeled next year.
4. The Mestalla (Valencia) walked around the outside of the stadium, no games on. They are being coerced to move.
5. The San Mames (Bilbao) could see the ground from hotel, no games on, now demolished, a new San Mames built.

El nuevo San Mames es increíble, encuanto al estadio del Real Oviedo lo sustituyeron por un horror de edificio diseñado por Santiago Calatrava 🥴, lo bueno es que muchos de los estadios los sustituyeron por por muchas "zonas verdes"

1.San Mames is the only football stadium whose old and new versions are actually placed in the same site just like numerous stadiums, most notably Wembley Stadium.
2.The reason why Vicente Calderon must be demolished is that portions of stadiums are placed in the middle of streets, which considered a high-risk if structural failure occurred.

sorry, but the photo that you posted with the Camp de les Corts (FC Barcelona) is fake. In the true place ( Numància street) now there are some blocks and there is a poster that explains that the old stadium was there.
