GoPro Charger Disassembled Taken Apart With a Quick Repair

Mine quit charging on 1 side. Kept indoors, never dropped or dirty. Used sporadically for about a year. Condition is "like-new". If I take it apart, any suggestions as to what I might look for? I am a techy and can figure things out in most cases. There is nothing obvious. the contact pins look great....and thanks for this informative video

Ah, so i could just lop off a centimeter from the top for easier extraction of the batteries, if i really wanted to.
