zombie villagers are not 'super rare'. They can be hard to find out in the wild, but if you have a mob spawner like yours, you can get three zombie villagers within a few hours.

I built a mob farm like this but I don't get nearly as many mobs...

How do you make it hardcore?

I've never been able to survive more than a few days on hardcore, but I think skyblock would actually make the experience easier, if anything. A lot of the deaths in Minecraft come from the randomness of the world and its rules, like a creeper spawning behind you or a skeleton shooting you off a cliff, but skyblock eliminates a lot of the randomness. True, you have many more opportunities to fall into the void, but you can also more easily light up every spawnable surface to control where everything comes from.

you can actually make a villager in Minecraft sky block. All that has to be done is get an apple and harvest gold from the zombie pigment making a golden apple, and then capture a witch, which has a chance of throwing a potion of weakness. If you capture a zombie villager, and make the witch's splash potion of weakness hit the zombie villager, and then feed it a golden apple, it is cured.

How did you get the lava?

You definitely using mod packs as the witch should have 2 shot you even on the lowest difficulty, and instant death on hardcore, yet you survived casually sitting in the boat with it. Booo!

Half slabs still let the light inside your mob spawner, have no idea how they were spawning, mod pack perhaps?

I dont like bees in skyblock, they always fly into the void or outside your render distance, never despawning and occupying your passive mobcap,permenantly, until killed. Had the same exact problem with chickens on my survival island whey just run into the water and float away, but never despawn.

The first thing people do with the cobblestone created in Skyblock is to build a platform underneath the dirt island which makes me think, why don't they just lava build a stone island under the dirt island. The inside corner of the dirt island would be the perfect place to do this, just rig lava to flow from one side at a low level with the source block a block away from the corner so that it's safe and you can easily block the flow if needed, on the other side rig the water to flow at a level higher, again a block away so it can easily be blocked. Let the lava flow for a prescribed amount of time, block the lava and open the water flow once the lava has dropped several blocks under the dirt isand, then block the water and open the lava to widen the pillar and repeat till the blocks reach a reasonable width or it's height has reached the dirt island preventing further flow, at which point you block both lava and water, drop down, mine out a flat platform, build a stair back up with the cobblestone collected (have some wood just in case you don't have enough), break apart the bottom steps of the stairway if you want the stone island to remain uniform in shape, and repeat till you have the island width you want. You will want to set up some floating blocks above the platform with torches to keep mobs from spawning. Once the size of the platform is the size you want, set up a perimeter fence but leave a gap towards the sand island and also in the other three directions and repeat, creating bridges off in the four cardinal directions, one to reach the sand island, one to create your tree farm platform, one to create your frinedly mob generator and one to build your unfreindly mob generator, all of which you build with the flowing lava. I have yet to see a video of someone doing lava builds in Skyblock but it's so logical to do so.
