Thanks Julia, I notice when you slap without a following pop your thumb bounces of higher away from string. When you follow a slap with a pop thumb stays practically on string. I assume in second case your thumb only comes of string enough to not mute? Thanks
ОтветитьGreat video! I’ve watched several slap/pop technique tutorials and I didn’t get much from them. You have a great way of presenting your lesson that is clear and understandable for someone just learning slap pop. Thanks !!
ОтветитьI’m wondering if I could modify the last fret
Rounder/sharper, different metal/material
Create a freaky/offensive and personalized, Pop 🤌
Hello...I've got a pineapple like you've got on the amp.....what is it's purpose...I've never worked it out...?.

Ответитьily julia
ОтветитьYay for Julia
ОтветитьWell done!
ОтветитьReally excellent lesson thank you! You !
ОтветитьJulia please make a video with Level 42 Mark King basslines
ОтветитьI appreciate that you suggest slower tempos to begin with.
We had a saying "Practice doesn't make perfect, Perfect practice makes perfect."
One of the best slap lessons I've seen! I'm just picking the bass back up after 40+ years. I've played guitar for 56 years, but only played bass in college. ('83), so this is great!
ОтветитьI am... A rubber ball!
ОтветитьThank you 👍👍👍
ОтветитьFinally I found something that works for me ….. Thanks J
Ответитьoh cool.. so how can you teach me to Slap dat ass =]
ОтветитьI sooooooo love Julia ….humbly excellent
ОтветитьHi. Thanks for the great tutorial! Got any tips for slapping on fretless? I'm especially having trouble getting the tones on the E string to ring out...they tend to thump dead. (I have new strings, quite light.)
Thanks!
I love you. I finally learnt how to slap thanks to you, thank you so much 💞
ОтветитьMy thump?
ОтветитьThanks for this tutorial, gonna start today!
ОтветитьJulia, I love you, thank you, thank you for this video, I'm taking classes but I see that my teacher gives us the technique a little quickly and doesn't give us this advice on how to bounce your finger on the string and how to practice it with different figures and notes. helped a lot
ОтветитьI am becoming a rubberball
ОтветитьI just started learning slap lord I'm awful. It is difficult
ОтветитьJust in time for my JB75 that arrived today. Thanks Thomann and Julia!
ОтветитьGreat lesson, but I have difficulty slapping the higher three strings without touching the others. Any idea on how I can correct my thumb technique? I've tried all sorts.
ОтветитьTHUMP!
ОтветитьAwesome this vidoe helps me to grow
Ответитьimma try this
Ответитьmy slaps are often pretty quiet i think my thumb is muting the string
ОтветитьBombtrack! Yes that's why I'm here I want to learn bass + slap. I watched it till end 😁🤣
ОтветитьIs she French?
ОтветитьWhen I thump a fretted note, I can barely get a sound. What am I doing wrong?
ОтветитьWomen are natural teachers than men. Julia is one of them. Clear articulation.
ОтветитьGood tutorial! Very nice to hear you speaking German at the end of the video. Suggestion for next slap lesson : muting strings. Thanks!
ОтветитьWenn ich slappe, habe ich immer das Problem, dass ich mit der Saite immer auf den Bund schlage.
Gibt es da einen Trick, oder ist es eine Sache worauf man einfach nur achten sollte?
Finally a slap lesson that is clear!!! Thank you.
ОтветитьLove your lesson. Can you share the settings for low, mid, and high? Thanks
ОтветитьCute Julia that you say thump "p"
Instead of thumb "b"♥️🎶
Thanks
Julia! This is a great video, I have played for a long time and always struggled with slap technique. I could never find a simple way to take it apart and learn it from the basic building block. You rock, thanks! Where do I find more?.
ОтветитьYour a babe 😍
ОтветитьJulio mui bineto 😘
ОтветитьThanks for the lesson. Do you need a P-Bass? I have a 5 string Ibanez (Fieldy K5) which is great for metal/hard rock/alternative. But the strings are closer together than what a 4 string P-Bass has which gives you less room to navigate the strings
ОтветитьI found this really good but would have liked to see you thumping from the E sting and popping the D string
ОтветитьKk su punya cwo??? Minta kk no WA di 🙏
ОтветитьOut of all the beginner slap and pop tutorials this has gotta be my favorite, thanks Julia
ОтветитьIf you use a pickguard cover with some foam under it like Jamerson and those guys did in the 60s would it work for fast slapping tecniques...?
