Filmi bulamıyorum izlemek için
ОтветитьI've just watched this and it's FAR more chilling and realistic than The Day After. Its not even close. This is one of the darkest films i've ever saw. The fact that you can see by how dated it is and still enjoy it shows how well it has aged. No CGI, just brutal, no nonsense depictions of nuclear destruction and the human suffering it brings.
ОтветитьThat's just the sort of thing that would happen to me. On the loo, dropping a log, and the bloody world ends!
ОтветитьWho hits the red button first dies second!
ОтветитьA very real scare in the 80's
ОтветитьThis trailer does absolutley no justice for the film.
ОтветитьThis movie is much more terrifying than the day after. Its depiction of life after a nuclear Holocaust / exchange or whatever you want to call it is so bleak. They ought to make us all watch this again or movies like this so we can calm down the tensions in our world
ОтветитьAnd we are so close to this crap...
ОтветитьFun fact, they actually blew up Sheffield in the filming of this movie
Ответитьthis is about instagram's twitter!
Ответитьthis movie should be mandatory watching in schools
ОтветитьAnd now hundreds of thousands of people in the UK are marching in favor of a terror organization thats calling for the nuclear annihilations of Israel. How the world has changed.
ОтветитьThe “War Games’s big brother” of movies
ОтветитьI know the voice of the first newsreader.
ОтветитьLmao not the dude shitting bloody hell! 😂😂😂😂
ОтветитьThis looks way more realistic than The Day After. I haven't seen either, but I think I'll start with Threads.
ОтветитьThis was raw and terrifying
ОтветитьI was unsettled for a month after watching this movie. I’ve seen “horror” movies but none of them compete with the horror in this movie, not even The Day After. Want to know what will happen before and after the nukes start flying? Watch this movie
ОтветитьGlad I saw these comments before I went and traumatized myself with this film. ❤I'm already an empath so I wouldn't be able to watch
ОтветитьI was utterly bewildered at the family that went to so much trouble boarding up a corner in a room didn't bother boarding up the window instead.
No one pulled out a single packet of stored vitamins either whilst everyone shouted at each other like in an 80's trade union meeting and in the Day After a nurse declared a lone orange was the last bit of vitamin C around as if vitamins hadn't been invented and zero anti radiation pills were given to emergency workers either so most croaked, i get they decided it was really important to illustrate nuclear weapons were bad etc as if no one had already studied Hiroshima in history but they were weirdly unrealistic in the process whilst determined to display relentless doom with zero hope.
I remember when this came out. I was 14. Pretty uplifting movie!
ОтветитьThis movie was boring and dry
ОтветитьThis film changed my entire outlook on life, I have never watched a film so life changing like this before.
Ответитьamericans think the day after is terrifying, its a picnic compared to this
ОтветитьHoly shit
ОтветитьFucking terrifying.
ОтветитьI fill bad for the for the guy who dies on the toilet :(
ОтветитьThis film is so much better - and far more disturbing - than The Day After. Which I still think is a terrible film.
Ответитьflippin' 'eck
Ответить"Mine is the last voice you will ever hear, don't be alarmed"
ОтветитьI remember being told about this film at some point in the 80s... I watched it tonight for the first time, and it's crazy how factual this really could become!! 😥
ОтветитьHala Tumatae kalang na nuke kapa...Teka maglilinis pako ng pwet!!!..Booom!!!.................
ОтветитьOne of the best films made on the topic to this day.
Ответитьwatched this 20 or so years ago on dvd my pal lent me (with a warning). I don’t think i’ve ever seen a movie create the hysteria of a nuclear war out break from its begging, till its occurrence and then what happens after, in such way as this movie. It left me pretty much speechless.
ОтветитьFrom the golden years of anarcho punk
ОтветитьSame setting different country. 2 years later.
ОтветитьHeard about this just today, the guy who told me said he refuses to watch it because of how many reviews and such people said they were scared of this. It got taken off streaming services because of the war in Ukraine. And by the comments here...I gotta check it out. I'm 33 so perhaps it won't hit me as hard but perhaps it will.... the anime movie "Barefoot Gen" still made me feel something when I watched it (about the bombing on Hiroshima).
Humans are quite capable of terrible things...
I watch this movie, or Dead Man's Letters whenever I need a pick-me-up.
ОтветитьHopefully
This Threads movie will not turn
Into reality
If Russia vs NATO OVER Ukraine begins we have no hope at all
May the miracle of peace happen
Because
We are still not far away
From Tbreads in reality.
The danger is not over.
I rather die in a nuclear war than submit to Putin or some pos like him
ОтветитьIf this movie scares you, imagine my childhood during the Cuban Missile Crisis. School drills to get under our desks. And even as elementary school kids we knew how little that would accomplish.
ОтветитьGuys I take back what I said! This fucking film gave me nightmares!!
ОтветитьIt's probably something wrong with me because I was a bit tired when I started watching and had difficulty to stay awake. I don't agree that threads is so horrible that everyone says. Of course it's dark and depressing but I think Chernobyl at HBO is scarier.
But I think threads is something that everyone should see because you appreciate the planet we live at more after it.

‘Boys and their toys’….
I've just finished watching it: pretty realistic for the build-up until the atomic blast and the days that followed; from that moment on, it lacks any plot, it is just a collection of short scenes of people living in absolute starvation and misery in an hypothetical nuclear winter. Pretty dreary but I also believe that there was a lot of unnecessary drama in it: the final part of children speaking in a broken English and raping Ruth's daugther was absolutely unnecessary. It's watchable but I'm not going to say it's a »cult movie« and I don't share the comments of feeling physical pain and sobbing after watching it.
Ответитьfor who liked it see "When the wind blows"
ОтветитьBrilliant film for it's time
ОтветитьWatched this yesterday never again completely freaked me out especially at the moment the way the world is
