Great video!
What the difference between mono and uni mode when you play single note?
Cant stand knob rippers.
ОтветитьMAKE FUNNY NOISES AND GO "YEAH". Totally. 🤣😎🤣 Best thing about analogue synths, getting lost in the mayhem. My little old Jen SX 1000 is terrific fun for that. Thinking of getting a Behringer Wasp module currently.
P.S. Loving the dawn chorus start-up! Keep up the good work!
This synthesizer is as customizable as one wants more.
Behringer Poly D doesn't have the perfect sound of the minimoog, because Behringer doesn't want to have problems with moog.
For that he gives you the option to hack the synth and be able to calibrate with a Minimoog.
For example, the filter can be tuned to the original 1970 sound, to make the dioids act more informal.
The envelope can be much faster than the standard one, but also slower, and the LFOs can be hacked as well.
The hack is given to you by behringer on the rear panel of the Poly D module and with the screwdrivers you can achieve the unmistakable sound of an Original Minimoog.
Also the synchronous modulation wheels and adj. it can accommodate better with the screwdriver, but few do the tutorial for the user, they just test the synth without doing calibrations with an original and show the sound it can make.
I have the original minimoog from 2016 and the Poly D, I bought this Poly D to play in concerts and live and make very elegant pads, while the original sleeps in the studio to never take it out of the house. They both sound great.
I have a Waldorf Blofeld keyboard + Waldorf Pulse 2 module, I bought this combination a few years ago before the pandemic, and I can only say that it is crazy to be able to combine them.
Pulse 2 gives all the fat analog sound that a digital synthesizer like blofeld does not give you and it is a minimoog clone with a 24db ladder (skelter) filter, although there is a trick, because Pulse 2 is octaphonic, it has the capacity to play 8 simultaneous notes , it can make all the classic pads and it has 3 identical oscillators with 8 modulation slots, presets, editable arpeggiator to create sequences that can also control the blofeld at the same time.
This alternative of combining a synthesizer with analog presets with a digital one is incredible, it was recommended to me by a famous deep house producer and I couldn't be happier to make really strange and impressive sounds.
I recommend this alternative to people who do not have much budget and achieve a truly professional sound with equipment from a great brand.
Go Charlie Mouse. The marvelous, polyphonic, model d organ.
ОтветитьHahahahahaha the Carrot Switch. Just reminded me of how few sense of humor the synth world has (at least good one). Plants I’ve seen, humor not yet. Ok, now I’ll subscribe and finish the video.
Ответитьsuper creepy death metal intro without sound?
ОтветитьI found a lovely juicy raisin on my keyboard yesterday but then I remembered; I have an African grey parrot…….
ОтветитьRecently discovered and subscribed to this channel due to my interest in some original synths and keyboards that entered the market.
Quality presentations - hopefully your subscriber base increases to great heights.
(Covered the Theremin yet?)
Cheers from Australia
Brilliant vid, well done sir! Thanks for making something watchable........just wish they'd get a shift on and release their poor man's Putney, wahey!
ОтветитьI liked the video, do you think it's worth buying over minilogue xd ? I would love to hear more of this in the channel !
btw i liked and subscribed haha
It's YOU who starts the birds singing! Good job, Steve. Love the carrot switch. Bloody brilliant bit of edible engineering.
ОтветитьCan never trust behringer build quality, sometimes they just randomly break or set on fire. I'd always rather get the real thing.
ОтветитьSubscribed! Youre brilliant! Keep them coming.
ОтветитьWow, everything sounds so 70's in paraphonic mode! Love it! 💢💯💢
ОтветитьReally a proper demo of Poly D,..Very inspiering. 25 years ago i lost my Minimoog model D in a tragic happening,..since then prices has escalated and to get hold of one was not gonna happen, BUT ! =) Then the Poly D was released, and i went for one and i love it to death,..it can do all things + more, Thank you VKS studios for joyful video, Love Cheers from Sweden🎹🧡
ОтветитьHey great video and much appreciated. I agree, there needs to be more musical videos with the Poly D. One of the best videos I saw which made me buy the Poly D was by a gentleman named Moot Booxle in which he is a great synth player. This is a great synth for the price. I'm glad it's in my arsenal.
ОтветитьAnother interesting video - especially as Studispares have these discounted for a few days. I may have t raid my piggy bank!
ОтветитьWhat a versatile device for just one letter! I've almost gained some pounds because of that fat sound; so maybe the poly diarrhoea will help to get rid of that weight again quickly ;-)! Thank you very much for sharing this awesome video, funny yet entertaining as usual :-)!
ОтветитьI love the Moog on Uriah Heep live in 1973 :)
ОтветитьExcellent rendition of the end of Brain Salad Surgery. Took me right back there. Karn evil 9.
ОтветитьA fine video, good sir
ОтветитьThe birds jajaja
ОтветитьSteve is a legend in his own right
ОтветитьHello Steve ,what a wonderful video. I watch and enjoy them all !
ОтветитьCouldn't agree more that too many demos of synth like this are silly noises. I like to hear a musical run through like you did. Your sense of humour cracks me up eg: carrot switch!
ОтветитьI like the more simple tones. They remind me of 70s television commercials and the musical themes to children's programs. Oh, and game show themes!
ОтветитьI like the "carrot switch". It looks like a really usable synth.
Ответить😁It's always a special treat to watch your videos Steve!!! Keep it commin'!!👍
ОтветитьGreat vid Steve, like it a lot ! ! ! (like I like all your vid.s )
ОтветитьIt was amaing to hear ELP!
