Which one has more stability?
ОтветитьIm’ma let you finish, but I can’t trust Superblast after a Novablast 3rd generation (gave me PF). I switched to NB SC trainer.m 2. I put 600+ in ASICS NB 1 & 2, but NB 3 destroyed my feet. I am afraid of the Superblast, but will prolly try it… after NB4.
ОтветитьSuperblast really needs to come in women's sizing. I just couldn't get that shoe to fit.
ОтветитьBut what would you choose between V1 or V2 because I have that dilemma right now buy another pair of V1s what I love or gamble on the V2s
ОтветитьDoesn't the SC trainer weigh more and last about half as long as the non-plated Superblast? Seems like that's easily worth the extra $20, no?
ОтветитьSupercomp all day everyday so easy. Cheaper and plated. This shouldn’t be a debate… the superblast is like getting donuts without sprinkles… like it just make no sense
ОтветитьNB looks like it’ll fit a wider foot so I’d probably go with that.
ОтветитьYou read my mind. This is the comparison I have been looking for.
ОтветитьThis channel doesn’t cop-out 😅
ОтветитьThe price of the superblast is frackin ridiculous
ОтветитьBeautiful honest reviews! Thank you guys.🔥❤️
ОтветитьIm running a 12 hr ultra on pavement in a few weeks im down to these 2 shoes any recs on what youd go with?
ОтветитьSC Trainer v2 or RC Elite v2?
Ответитьwhen Megan says "firmer" or "not as squishy", it means the shoes will give me pain. Based on these few words, the shoes are a no-go.
ОтветитьASICS make beautiful shoes
ОтветитьThe SC is currently $124 at Running Warehouse!
ОтветитьWell, I just came across this video after trading in my Superblasts for the NB SC V2s. I have always worn Asics, never had New Balance. The Superblasts were just firmer than expected after several runs, and just didn't have much energy return to propel me forward. I put on the Supercomp V2s and will never look back, way more fun, way more bounce and energy return, and they feel better for everything. I will NOT miss my Superblasts. First NB purchase and it is amazing!
ОтветитьPlease compare them to Speed 3, Deviate Nitro 2 and Boston 12.
ОтветитьIn every aspect, New Balance SC Trainer v2 looks like to me a New Balance version of Saucony Endorphin Speed 3 but heavier and $20 more expensive.
ОтветитьGreat video, thank you! Would love to see New Balance SC Trainer vs ON Cloud Monster battle.
ОтветитьHi There !!!!!!!! Love da channel but what is a good shoe for "Shakeout" runs..I hit up all the major marathons..but ...heres the key..I onldy do the Shake out runs ..My confidence is not there yet
Ответитьis supercomp v2 as stable as superblast?
ОтветитьNew Balance SC Trainer V2 vs Asics Magic Speed 3 please...
ОтветитьSuperblast has a plate
ОтветитьI’m going to purchase both of these sneakers and tell you the 100% truth
ОтветитьI really don’t like running easy in the superblast but it is surprisingly good with interval sessions.
ОтветитьHow would you (or others) compare these to the saucony endorphin speed 3? Or put them in a different category?
ОтветитьLove the ‘Super Daily Trainer’. Let’s make it a thing…
ОтветитьThe B2S I’m looking forward to is Hoka Mach X vs Saucony Kinvara Pro.
But I guess I have to wait for both of those to come out first.
[waiting intensifies]
Asics Superblast are horrible at cornering. I've almost rolled my ankle twice running in them. I prefer the Saucony Tempus any day as a daily trainer over the Superblast. I've considered the New Balance though since I just picked up the supercomp pacers for track work, I may look more into the new balance for another daily
ОтветитьIs the Superblast still a firm ride after the break in period? How is the ride and feel of the midsole after the break in period? I prefer mid to softer midsoles but do like high stack. Thanks!
ОтветитьCurrently have the NB3 & it's approaching 300 miles.. Gonna squeeze those miles out and buy the SB for the summer miles!! I have $80 credit at my local Road Runner Sports store and might stack it to cash out those bad boys. Fast enough for steady/tempos at HMP???
ОтветитьOne point of interest. The Superblast is a work of art. Beautiful design and amazing look. The New Balance SC Trainer V2 is just ugly.
ОтветитьStill waiting for sc trainer 1 to go on sale😂
Ответитьyay go sc trainer! i would pick that too
ОтветитьSuperblast all day and twice on Sunday
ОтветитьI have the SC trainer v1. Great shoe, but it can be a bit unstable as it makes me supinate. Also I wear it as a "everyday doing everything" type show and at times when you're walking you can feel the carbon plate. Not always the greatest feeling. With this being said I still wanted to try the SC trainer V2 and see if the lower stack and a wider version could help with the supination and be better performing.
ОтветитьWhile the sc trainer v2 is a new shoe, they seem more exciting vs buying another pair of superblast. With that said, superblast has absolutely proven itself. I’m a shoe geek with dozens of pairs of running shoes in my rotation. And the superblasts is my favorite long run shoe… Once passed the initial excitement of sc v2, I would be surprised if they would come close to the excitement of superblasts.
ОтветитьNovablast makes me overpronate, wondering if Superblast would be as well
ОтветитьMy vote goes to SC trainer. Better shoe
ОтветитьQuestion! If you had to run a road 50 mile ultra in the heat, which of these two shoes would you pick? 🧐
ОтветитьI own a pair of SC Trainer v1 and I love them! Best shoes for easy/recovery day. The landing is so soft and the ride is so smooth. After my unsuccessful attempts of trying to get used to the nike invincible I finally found what i was looking for. Nike offered great protection for my legs and day after running in them I felt fresh but the run itself was always hard and fatiguing. I liked the bounce but i hated the profile of the outsole which forced me to weird, unnatural landing. In SC Trainer there is no such thing! The protection of the foam is just as good (if not better) as in the invincible but the ride is so much smoother. I feel great during the run, just after the run and the next day I feel fantastic. When it comes to the stability there is indeed a little issue... But I think it's more related to the combination of huge stack height and drop than to any kind of instability in the construction of the shoe. For me only running downhill and doing very sharp corners feels a little weird. But I'm getting used to it. What I'm really concerned about is durability. There's a lot of soft exposed foam on the outsole. And it's getting beat up pretty fast...
ОтветитьSuperblast 100%
ОтветитьMeg, youre the man
ОтветитьI actually considered the Superblast for my daily easy run trainer, but ended up with the NB More v.4. It is heavier, but I found it to be more comfy cushioned. I just bought the NB SC Elite v.3 too for racing and speed work, so have to wait a bit for my CC to cool off, so that I can add the SC Trainer v.2.
ОтветитьFor the record ASICS SUPERBLAST is the best walking/running shoe of the DECADE!!!
ОтветитьOver 200lbs. Which one would work best? Opinions please!
ОтветитьI like the scenario based questions at the end like "what would you pack if you had to take a trip and use 1 shoe..." That speaks a lot about a shoe for sure.
ОтветитьThe Superblast is amazing ! I miss it if I run in a different shoe so I bought another one so I don't have to choose something else. not using for race day though
Ответить🤯
