While I understand they catfished her to make sure she was safe and she would’ve been kidnapped had it not been her parents. But her parents literally CATFISHED her and that’s gross.

AGAIN???? THIS has happened before??? My younger daughter used to do this, she would tell us that she "knew them from school, or childhood friend" etc. She finally got scared enough at one experience that the police called us to come get her and of course her dad was so angry that he had to walk outside and I being the calm one asked her in front of the police officer "EXACTLY how stupid do you think your dad and I actually are???"

At first I was judging the parents but with context, these parents were trying to prove a point. Some kids get it with a talk, others don’t. Seems like they tried talking to her before about this and she lied to them and kept doing it anyways.
