The Kemper is the greatest piece of Gear I have ever bought and for me cured my insatiable G.A.S. that I suffered with for years. Thanks Christoph Kemper!

I'm really looking forward for new era of convolution 'sampling'. Most common IR time now even in cheap Chinese pedals is 200ms - 600ms. To catch spring reverb well you need at least couple seconds. But I'm really looking forward is capturing non-linearity and dynamic response. Once you get 3D map of a tone, you could utilize new quad-core chips to interpolate between tones (or knob positions if you will). Morphing tones between fuzz and distortion is something that's really impossible electronically (not crossfading, but really changing dynamic response/ waveform modification), but only through mathematical models. So having good analog gear collection would be equivalent to having good library. Having opportunity to sample a tone you'd like would be great. Mostly, because it's really about portability and convenience now, and lugging tube amp is just not my thing

My son and I got to try a Kemper when they were still pretty new, there was this really cool guy named Tim at the Sam Ash store and one day we walked in amd he said "have you seen these new Kemper amps!", he then let us try it on an SLO profile and it was going through a single floor monitor and it felt like a real tube amp.. I'm not a good enough guitarist to be snobby about a Kemper and after my JCM 2000 and my sons VOX AC 30 went out a Kemper sounds pretty good right now

You can't fool us. That spam tone was coming from the Manwich can. Truly shameful. I'm unsubscribing and going to fist fight the Manager at my local GC
