Here’s Why the New 2023 BMW M2 Is Better Than You Think

I have minimal issues with the looks, I think it looks fine. Not great, but perfectly acceptable. Way out ahead of the rest of BMWs cars, except the M5, which is the last genuinely handsome BMW.
I'm much more concerned about the weight. 300 pounds more than the last generation, which was 200 pounds more than the 1M, and for what? What does this bring to the table to justify that kind of weight gain? They certainly didn't use it for rear seat legroom.
Still, even a mediocre mix of this recipe is pretty tasty. Straight six, rear wheel drive, with a manual in the middle and 50/50 weight distribution, is still one of the best designs in the automotive world. Staring down the barrel of the EV age, it feels a bit childish to complain about the small things, as long as they're not too egregious. This is fine.

Is not a man car that all , plenty power but incorrect size . Basically do your check mark if you are 16, or if your are very small guy , or if your are a female and like M cars , this is the perfect car for my daughter . But maybe is to fast for her

I loved my 2018 M2....with wide fenders, Doug is right ,the manual clutch especially when you have to drive through town slowly.

I don't really like the m2 body style but this one is pretty nice, the slight changes makes it look good

I absolutely love almost everything about this car... except the giant iPad, man it looks awful and cheap as hell.

If it had a smaller screen and a better analog tachometer it would be a 9/10 but with that awful screen it's a 8/10.

BMWs exterior design is getting worse … they tried to fix the front grill .. still not that great .. and the different exterior parts of car looks out of proportion … so now probs with exterior design and again much less interior quality than the Merks … such a shame … I was contemplating getting the M3 2022 but only if the interior was as good as the Merks especially the CLA45S which has superior interior …

I wouldn't say the I drive knob is redundant...it has a pursose....its hard to drive and use a touch screen ...thats what the knob is for buddy

I literally went to cars and coffee (Hunt Valley Horsepower in Maryland) Last weekend and saw this, next to the M4 CSL and two of the most recent Porsche’s you reviewed. It was CRAZY seeing them all there on the same day, like they jumped out of the video!

This for sure is what I need, but not with this terrible grill.

I bet it is fun to drive. It is just hideous to look at. The design is so weird and off, nothing makes any sense. There are no clear lines, everything is all over the place.

God i swear to god the only difference between all bmw trims is the grille size lmao. Idk who gets paid to design these things but man could i destroy whoever does cause these are the most boring yet expensive cars around. That front is just beyond stupid bland. Ill take my s550 mustang any day of the week and save 40k

The rear bumper looks like it fell off the Millennium Falcon, and the rest of the car looks like it is inflated about 27 PSI over spec.

4/5 BMW M2 2023 (Because the problem is not in the bumbers its so smoothy like previous and side bottom looks like BeamNG car)

The problem is the fenders look like they belong in a mustang or something, don't make sense with the rest of the car. It kind of looks like an American car from the side which reaaaally is not a compliment

With sales tax - in Canada - this M2 costs $92,000.00. PRICES ARE INSANE!

I never liked Bmw as Im a Mercedes guy but I would really consider buying one of these with a manual gearbox, also there are some nice straight lines :)

BMW has lost their way. I own a e46 m3 and a f87 M2 . The M3 ended with the F87 M2.
