I've been thinking of getting EQ Dirt Transmitter or the the EarthQuaker Devices Hoof V2. Just curious if anyone thought it's worth getting this pedal as well for a different fuzz style tone or is one of those three or more very similar to one another? Thanks so in advance. ✌️ ☮️

Loved the sound! right now i have money for just the Hizumitas, is it possible to use it without a noise gate or it'll be too noisy by itself?

I have a question about your Tele. I notice 3 switches on yours. I have a Fender Tele where I had a Fernandez sustainer system put in. Are the switches on yours for a built-in sustainer system?

Damn well there’s another pedal to add to my collection just making me less rich. Was it worth buying so many pedals? Your damn right it was.

This is like having a many Orange Amps scooped out in one pedal, and a Muff or two in it.

I have no idea why other pedal manufacturers haven’t followed EQD into marketing to MUSICIANS not just guitarists. That being said, the Hizumitas is on my short list of pedals I want. Like I even need another fuzz, lol.

I have read about almost all the pedals that caught my attention on your webpage, and there, I could listen to some audio samples of the pedals I like on bass but this one did not have a bass sample there. Is it because you did not recommend it for bass?

On the other hand, I have read that Hizumitas is not as good on bass as they mention there´s some loss of low end and that it would have been great to have a blend control. What is your opinion about this?

Just got this pedal and the Arrows, might get EQ and Compression pedals from them (EQD) too, I’m really impressed with the quality of sound/build. Iv had the Afterneath for a few years too and always like it, most of their pedals Iv used so far can get really intense but still keep tonal and musical qualities.

It's honestly fucking amazing that earthquaker makes "Video manuals" of their products. Please never stop making those.

How does this compare to the EHX OP-Amp Big Muff? In other words, how close to the "Siamese Dream" tone can the Hizumitas get? Because I wanna play those dreamy Smashing tunes, but also doom the fvkk out.

I have clone of an Elk Super FUZZ Sustainar and I love that it still rips with the bass dimed. Sure it still gets muddy, but it doesn’t stop being hairy either.

Got this pedal and it is CRUSHING! Question though, when I tap on the button I don't hear the clicking sound you associate with pedals and I want to know if that is normal? It works fine otherwise!

Walked into a music store yesterday and tried it out with the Afterneath into a Bassbreaker 30R and it was a life changing experience. Needless to say had to bring it home.

I stopped at a store today to try out the Data Corrupter and Eruptor, not really planning on walking out with anything. Was given the Hizumitas to try out. Walked out with it after 10 minutes.

Dang, this sounds amazing. I just picked up a hoof reaper and grand orbiter though, my wife would kill me if I bought another pedal.

Got my Hizumitas today, and OMG it is amazing. Freaking loud, but luckily there is massive thunderstorm here tonight, so I can crank it and only the storm giants are complaining. It sounds brilliant through both my fuzz friendly St Vincent and my not so fuzz friendly Jackson HT-6 with BKP Juggernauts. Usually, the Juggers just overpower fuzz pedals, but Wata clearly has eardrums of steel and the Hizumitas is just lapping it up. Cranked into the Astral Destiny, I'm getting some serious alien noises. It's loving an edge of break-up (Tweed channel of my TA-15) amp to drive into as well.
Just for fun, I used it to smash the Acapulco Gold as well. Heh heh heh !! It's like the best muff ever, with a really low noise floor and the sweetest violin lead tone. It does not chug, however, which is fine.

Hi ! Is there a Flexi switch on this Hizumitas ? I'm tired to buy Earthquaker pedals just to sell them a few years later in order to have a v2 soft switch :) - especially when the hard click button could be heard on my amp... - Space Spiral v1 for example... Thanks for the answer !

mine has volume drop off, like ill play a note and its as if someones turning my volume down, then slowly back up. is it something i'm doing wrong ?

Can this run off of a 9-volt battery internally?
