I Built a Keypad to Control My Entire Desk Setup - OLED TV, USB Switch, Lights, Desk, Macros...

3 Months of design, to save 3 seconds of time. Worth it. This was me just hacking away at different solutions, so I'm open to better solutions for this problem.

I did this with a prehKeyTec MCI 128 for ClipStudioPaint purposes (PS2 connector sadly but I got for cheap) And that was too many keys...

I know it is much, but can I ask on tutorial on how to make basicly a good KVM switch with a wireless switch with an option to programm to switch only usb or video or both.
My skills are equal to 0 and I'm getting crazy switching between two mouses and two sets of keyboard and manual chaning input in my monitor depending on what I want to do.

Dude! I love you Videos and your calm voice and your brilliance in the things that you do.... I am such a shortcut neird, try to make everything as easy as possible. You bring this to a new level. I wish I have some skills in putting sensors togethter like you. So far I learned how to do many things by just the internet. But with electronics I am still unsure.

Anyhow I have one question that in head for the whole last week! How do you manage to switch between your two OS's/ Computers? I just bought a KVM and switching from one to the other is always a pain.... screen turning black etc... 5 or 10 seconds. I have note tested my KVM with my lew LG C3 48, because my Linux was not liking the new TV. But in short, does the KVM quality determine the snappiness? The LG I think also does this in general faster then others, or computer/laptop speed Graphicscard? I sadly use a Dell XPS 9500, it only uses the intel CPU for displays. Only HDMI 2.0.... so 60 hz.... until I get my externel Graka at some point.

While this is good but small keyboard is totally depended on main pc, if pc goes off everything else stops working, It should have been standalone.
