Meh, as the set goes on and the weight offsets, it feels terrible on the thumb as you try to touch the Biceps. Tried it, didn't like it. I'll get the stretch through a secondary movement

Be careful of your anatomy. Because especially if you have long arms, only lower it down to as far as it stretches your chest. I was training like this even with light weight and I got injured. I couldn’t understand why I was getting injured because I thought I was doing it right because he said this was the best way. Then I realised it’s not the best way. Same with dips. You can only go as far as it stretches your chest not your shoulders.

Atleast people in the comments recognise that this CAN lead to injury if done with too heavy weights. Its out of the ordinary "range" where you've got full strength.

All these technique to get the extra range of motion and judgement towards other top tiers like Ronnie Coleman's form. yet Dr Mike still doesn't look anywhere as good as ifbb pros . His upper chest is non existent for ifbb pro standards. So Mike, enough with your rigid range of motion crap and learn a thing or two about from from the pros that you judge like ronnie

Im doing fine with regukar dumbell presses i think getting the stretch is better for me on other chest exercises esp with a previous shoulder issue not worth the risk

Find it interesting that all these bodybuilders AKA steroid builders are trying to look bigger get bigger by using all these machines and contraptions and stuff but the most beautiful people on the planet get that way from working the field working on a farm or in a factory they never step foot in a gym and they look exquisite aesthetically pleasing and in the end stronger and healthier and happier😊
